Pokémon Moon - Nintendo 3DS

The game is overall fun. Graphics looks quite nice on my New 3ds XL. Its pretty easy to beat the game and level up Pokémon. Im a 90s kids so I remember having to train your Pokémon for long hours before hitting the gym leaders. With this game you receive exp share for your whole party. Meaning that leveling up Pokemon has been made easy and you can just keep using one Pokémon to do all your battles while the other Pokémon leech the exp. The game can be beaten in 1 or 2 days. Although it will take you a while to evolve and catch all the Pokemon in the game. Overall, I dont think itll take more than 1 week to beat the game and finish the pokedex.

This Pokémon game really feels like a next step, its crammed with so many features, itd overwhelmingly exciting, nothing feels difficult to get into. If youre looking for a challenging game, Ive never felt any Pokemon game is challenging, and the same applies here. I would have given it 5 stars if they had further simplified how to get competitive Pokémon, they did introduce new mechanics to make IVs better, but you still have to farm natures, and spend time making different sets of the same Pokémon for the competitive scene, if you just want to have fun its an amazing game. If youre looking to get into its competitive side, just keep in mind you still have to spend a lot of time breeding, grinding EVs, getting the right nature, the right moves, and hidden abilities. Ill go ahead and update my review if I happen to find its much easier to go competitive.

This is a great game for pokemon fans who are looking for a slightly different story line and non-traditional rpg main game. To put it simply this game uses maintains many of the mechanics and features of the main story games for pokemon but introduces a story line that doesnt necessarily involve beating several gyms, defeating an evil organization, and beating the elite four, although two of those elements are still within the game (it still feels a more variant of typical pokemon games). Any main rpg style pokemon game is very easy to pick up and play without any prior knowledge.

Game Freak needed to release a new Pokemon game to reinvigorate the series, and Pokemon Moon is that game. Ive been fan since the beginning so I was a little skeptical about the change up from gym leaders to island hoping, but the experience is still 100% Pokemon adventure. The graphics a step in the right direction with fully a animated protagonists and NPCs as opposed the classic big headed sprites of previous games. Keeping with clothing customization from Pokemon X/Y was a smart move as well, especially now that you can see the details much more. I can keep describing how great it is but you really need to experience it for yourself. Again, its not your typical 8 gym, catch legendary, then fight the elite four adventure, but it is definitely worth your time.

Unfortunately came without art, just the game, for someone like me how love to collect this old games it’s disappointing.

Love the game. Ive been a fan of the games since dp and those are always my favorites. Normally, every Pokemon game that releases, Ill still enjoy, this was no exception. Ive put 70 hours into the game and Im not even done with the main story. It actually takes much less time to complete but I like to train and rotate a team of 19 sooo... anyways, the traditional 8 gym battle formula has been changed but other than that, its still the same Pokemon you know and love. Definitely pick up the game if you havent already

Not too much water eh IGN? Basically GameFreak took all of our hopes and dreams for Pokemon and put them into this game. It is the biggest leap in terms of quality between any generation of Pokemon. Weve gone to a more 3D view point with moving camera angles. We got rid of the gyms and put in trials instead (Thank goodness!), and we have a wonderful new setting. The new Pokemon are a lot of fun, plus we have all the familiar faces as well. The menus have been improved and streamlined - which is a HUGE plus. One could consider it a minor improvement yet it makes the usability and functionality so much easier, especially in battle. Also, having the weakness indicators when battling familiar Pokemon is fun too. Though I would have liked if this didnt come up until you captured the type you are fighting. In other words, not showing how your moves affect the opponent unless you have previous captured one of the same and entered it fully into the Pokedex. But small nitpick there. Its truly as near perfect as a Pokemon game can be and is what I consider one of the best games of 2016. I actually enjoy this more than FF15.

Now I really wanted to give this game the full five stars, but I had some issues with it. First off, the package arrived neat and clean. Shipping was quick, game arrived new. It plays fine, it does everything you want it to. Now the reason I couldnt give it a full five stars. My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Blue back on my gameboy color. I know as the series gets older, they change things to keep it fresh. The last ones I played were Ruby and Black 2. I take a break every few years and then try the latest version. My issue with these new games, and perhaps they had this in X and Y, as I never touched those. It feels as if the game holds your hand way too much. The older games would just give you the starter you pick, and off you go. 3 Hours in and after I completed the first trial, I feel as if Im still in a tutorial and the game keeps telling me exactly where to go. I feel that the exploration has died down and the game has become more linear than it used to be. Im still having fun with it, I just feel like I need to have the training wheels taken off. If this is your first Pokemon game, I recommend it. If this isnt, Id still recommend it, just knowing you will feel as if youre in a tutorial for a few hours.

The best pokemon game I have played in several years. I have been a fan for 15 years and with the change to 3D I have not had a good time with it. X and Y was not that fun, while omega ruby and alpha sapphire I found to be a poor remake of the original, but I found Both Sun and Moon to be a refreshing new take to pokemon. It has it`s changes true and It has a rather slow start which to a series veteran was very annoying, but in the end I think it was a new and great change addition to the series.
