ROXIO EASY CD & DVD

Horrible program. I read that it will burn DVDs supported by DVD players so I bought it. I couldnt import ANY of the media formats I tried. Itll let you select multiple types, but then throw an error that it cant use that format. Waste of money!

Roxio Easy CD & DVD software does not support MP4 file format even though their advertisement online says it supports ALL file formats. The customer service is inefficient and very, very, poor. I wouldnt recommend Roxio Easy CD & DVD software to anyone. Warning to the wise - STAY AWAY! You will be very disapointed.

Roxio has always made a good product and this is no exception. The product does all it says . I enjoy making CDs so I dont have my original cds in the car. If some one gets away with a burnt CD ,I still have the original ! Good easy to understand software.

I used to be able to convert a song from a commercial CD to a WAV file in the computer with the older version. Newer versions only allow you rip to MP3. This is going backwards. Also I am not allowed to burn a DVD with WAV files. Not much use to me. Miguel Melgar

I just needed software to make copies of music CD s that I had burned from some old LP records...Staples had it for $30 and I had a $10 coupon so figured I was in business...not so much...I installed it (Windows 7 Office) and when I tried to copy a disc, I got a not responding message followers by an error message with the disc being ejected ... Filed a report with tech support and to their credit, got back a detailed e-mail back with about 5 paragraphs of things to do to fix it (almost beyond my technical capacity, but got through it step by step) Re-installed it with high hopes only to have it do exactly the same thing ... THEN I discovered that there is a Windows app on my computer that does all that anyway .. bottom line is I am out $20 as far as I can tell at this point

This program looks good at the outset. It does, however, not load until one has cleared out any other CD DVD burner program. So far it has been worthless, for my purposes.

I bought this software at a local store to burn some disks for a friends birthday gift. In the end the cds never worked, wasted dvds and time, the box is now in a heap of useless computer junk from years past. Dont let the price fool you or better yet let it be a warning. Piece of crap.

I like this. It is easy to use. We frequently make everything on the old computer and it was refreshing not to have to go through a big, long, unnecessary activation process.

Updated Review on newer version (deleted older one) As far as I know, the latest (and probably last) version of Roxio Easy CD & DVD was Version 14.0.49.2. The version number is absent from product pages as to what version is now available which is very misleading. Even the Roxio forums are no help. Ive used Version 14 on Windows 7 and 8.1, the latter Im still using. I tried Windows 10, but promptly got rid of it when some of my programs would not run so I dont know if it worked in that version of Windows. I only use Roxio for backing up files even though it also has other programs for making music and video discs. For me it is enough. The only problem I have had is that theres a file in Roxio that interferes with a file in my Legacy Family Tree software so I get a prompt to install Roxio. This might be an incompatibility issue with Roxio because I dont have that problem with other software however it still performs backups without any issues. Im updating my grading of this version and not any of the previous versions. It was only about $20 so I couldnt expect anything more. If you want something to duplicate copyrighted material then youre looking in the wrong place.

I thought my computer(s) were the problem, pcs, with my burned DVDs not working about half of the time until I read these reviews and know its the software. Not a good buy in my opinion. Will be finding new software as soon as I finish this review.
