> 24 hourGot this put all of my stuff I wanted on it worked great and 2 months later it will not work and you can not get ahold of customer service USA or online do not buy this! UPDATE, I have received support and now this product is working great would give 5 star but a little frustrating it crashed after 2 months. You have to eject this everytime I wasn’t aware of that w the usb. You eject it at the bottom of your computer right side by the clock area. Hope this helps

> 24 hourI bought this HD because it claims to be resistant and I had very bad experiences in the past with HD that would go bad by just shaking them too hard or any simple movement. I have not confirmed its water resistance or its shock resistance. 10 days after purchase I was using the HD (moving some files to it so I could take them to work next day for a meeting), all good, then I turned off the computer and unplugged it. 30 mins later I plug it and it prompts me to format in order to be able to use it. I lost all my files just like that. It did not fall, got wet, I was not even touched. This is horrible.

> 24 hourEveryones been there. Your PC dies with your saved documents with it. This has happened a few times over the years, What a pain. One of the gals at work suggested buying a portable hard drive. I have to admit, I never thought I needed one. However, the point is compelling; if, for whatever reason I needed to leave the house (fire, lets say), I can grab this ONE thing and shoot out the door. I just saved all my important stuff. I save everything to this drive. No matter what, my stuff is safe. Military Shockproof - Drop protection meets US Military (MIL-STD-810G) Standards, good enough for me, right? Water-Resistant - IPX4 Splash Resistant from all angles for at least 5 minutes, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 - High transferring rate up to 5Gb/sec and backward compatible with USB 2.0; Cable Management Design - Brilliant wrap -around USB 3.0 cable storage design; I like that. Works with PCs and Macs - Share data and files between different platforms, nice, versatile. Best Warranty - 3 years manufacturer warranty. All great points. Im thinking Ill buy one for hubby, too

> 24 hourConstruction is top notch, clearly heavy duty and Im not worried about dropping it or anything. The cord is standard male USB to standard male USB which is a little odd. If you lose it youll have to get a replacement somewhere, and the way it attaches to the drive is a little suspect so I assume Ill probably misplace it at some point in the future. Drive works well with Windows as well as Mac OS

> 24 hourI have had no problems with this. Its functioning as my auto-backup for my computer and works well. The cord holder is kind of gimmicky. It will pop out and its something that my dog would eat without a second thought if he found it on the floor. If you are really into cord systems, this probably isnt a great cord system. I like the fact that there is a rubbery plastic piece that covers the usb plug, which helps to keep out dust and some (maybe) environmental moisture, but it isnt a weather proof seal by any means. This should work fine for people who dont have extreme requirements for their external hard drive. It seems like it would travel well and I like the lime green color.

> 24 hourThis is another of those products that provides a straightforward function without clutter. It does not come with elaborate backup software, but I view that as a major plus. A lot of hard drive backup programs are so helpful, they make it almost impossible to do anything except for exactly what the software wants you to do, making it hard for you to exercise some free will on how you use the drive. This drive allows you to use all of the capacity, however you want to use it. If you are just a little bit comfortable using a file manager program, this hard drive provides plenty of space to put your files, and flexibility to do it however you wish. It works flawlessly with just the power from the USB plug, and the included cable is a big plus - no digging around to find it. Luckily I have not had to test any of the ruggedness features, but it certainly appears to be well built and sturdy enough for whatever you throw at it.

> 24 hourIt worked quickly and easily to save pictures and documents from my MacBook Pro, but I cannot use with my Surface Pro 3. I have tried trouble shootingwithout success. I am very disappointed as I made the purchase to save my files from my Mac before I could no longer access the files so I wouldnt lose them and could view or use with my Surface Pro. Yes, the documents are Microsoft docs as I had the Microsoft Office pack installed on the Mac. The Surface makes noise saying it knows something has been plugged in, but I cannot open the hard drive, view contents, or save to it on the Surface.

> 24 hourSo far, so good. I just wanted to address the cable-clip problem: the clip stay on the cables, by the clips dont stay on the drive unit. Its a bad design, but it doesnt affect the drive at all, duh! I got the frequently bought together Amazon case for, like, 6 bucks, and Ive taken the clips off, put them in the interior pocket with the cable, and everything is still in one place.
