After struggling trying to get a different smart plug to connect to my network, I ordered the ReFoss smart plug because of its compatibility with Apple HomeKit. I plugged it in, held my phone up to the plug and it self configured first time. Also, setting up actions and automation was a snap. Good product!

Theyre trash. I can never tell if they want to work or not. I did the Apple Homekit installation and that seemed easy enough, but its up to pure luck if theres even a response from them or not. Sometimes they function and thats nice but most of the time they dont. I just dont understand how these things passed certification if they cant even connect and stay connected to a wifi network in a 300 sq ft area.

I love they came in a very small package. Two smart plugs at this price was so tempting. Extremely easy to set up with Apple HomeKit, just plug it, scan the QR code with HomeKit app and device will be added to your home group right away. If you already have a Meross account and have linked that account to Google Home and Alexa, adding this WiFi Smart Plugs will take less than 5 minutes. You just need to add it to your Meross account by selecting the right type of outlet, connect it to your 2.4 GHz network, and that is it. Then they will appear in your google home and Alexa app almost instantaneously. It is very convenient that you can use them with your favorite assistant application. I will certainly get more as I automate most of my devices at home. They have a very small footprint. The side button is a big plus, it is easy to manually turn it on or off even if the whole front is covered.(An issue I run into in the past with other smart plugs) Status light is small and not very bright, at night you will not even notice they are in your room. I have been using their previous smart plugs for over 2 years. (We also have a dimmable switch)They have been adding more features to the app to create routines based on time, as well as scenes to control several plugs at once. It is good that they always keep the settings even if you unplug them for several weeks. I have never had any issue with the smart plugs. From time to time the app logs me out, more likely than not after an update. I totally recommend this brand and any device made by them.

Easy to install. Love that I can prep my coffee the night before and use my phone to start it to brewing. Better than buying a programmable coffee maker because one touch on my phone and I can get the coffee started whenever I wake up, without making a trip to the kitchen. Also perfect for the corner lamp that is hard to reach.

I was a little concerned reading some of the reviews regarding the Homekit compatibility but I now have complete control over all four of these using Siri. I simply followed the instructions (downloaded the manufacturers app first) and there was not a single issue. I did plug them in and install them ONE AT A TIME.

The best smart outlets on the market! I use Apple HomeKit primarily for my smart home and I’ve had nothing but “no response” issues with other “name” brand smart plugs. These outlets just work. They’re always responsive, integrate easily with my automations and don’t take up much space on the outlet. What more could you want in a smart plug? Now I have smart routines for holiday lights, fish tanks, decorative lamps and even a plug-in vent booster fan in my attic.

These worked great! I’ve previously had trouble adding refoss products to homekit. This time they added ok following these steps: Force eero network into 2.4 ghz mode Disable Pi-hole Turn WiFi off and on to have iPhone reconnect to 2.4 ghz WiFi Add to home app by scanning code (fails) -but does get them on WiFi Download refoss app and update firmware on plugs Reset plugs by holding button for 5 seconds Add to home app again by scanning code: success!

I have many meross products and this smart plug works with meross app. Click on add device and go through the setup as normal. I have it setup with Alexa as well but prefer the meross app to control the the plug. I have not set up it up with Apple Homekit but plan to do this once I get a chance. Overall this is great product and adds additional versatility with Home kit.

The Google device comparability is a little unreliable. You have to download an app for these outlets. Setup did not go smoothly. One of the outlets would not set up, but after I had left it alone for a while, it just worked. I keep getting prompted to install new firmware, but an unable. Theres a QR code on the outlet that doesnt work right and takes you to a Google search that takes you to an h&m product. Pretty sure that wasnt supposed to happen. The lights I have plugged in to these outlets sometimes turn themselves off on their own. Basically it works, but I wish I had paid double for the Phillips product, so it could work better, along with the various hue products I use.

Functions well very easy even if you make a mistake to reset.. Clear and concise directions
