As my headline says, The White Album has never been my favorite Beatles album. In fact, it probably isnt even in my top 5. Thats a matter of personal opinion and not a debate Im going to get into here. Still, I couldnt resist pre-ordering the 6 disc / 1 Blue Ray deluxe boxed set as soon as it was announced a few months ago. As it turns out, I probably would have been happy enough with just the digital download or even the 3-cd set.

Only one thing you can say about any Beatles album and that is no one that exist today or during the period they were in are as brilliant as these four lads!
