Awesome album. This is one for the collector, a timeless masterpiece. 180 gram vinyl, pretty flat, well centered and sounds fantastic! Gatefold cover with picture collage/lyric sheet and four photos of Paul, John, Ringo and George. At this price, its a no brainer for any Beatles fan.

This sets the standard for reissues.

It was scratched and it skips now. I wish I could really listen to it. Congratulations, you managed to make Even The Beatles sound bad.

I bought (and returned) three copies of this record. All of them had quality problems of some sort -- warping, pops/cracks, static and weird background noise, distorted sound. After the third defective one I decided to return for refund, I give up on trying to get a good copy...

Das negative zuerst, leider musste ich einige Tage mit dem Auspacken warten, weil meine Familie mir das zum Geburtstag schenken wollte. Aber die Wartezeit hat sich voll gelohnt. Auf diesem Album (6 CD, 1 Blue-Ray-Ausgabe) fehlt nichts. Klanglich absolut einwandfrei und die Veröffentlichung der Esher-Demos stellen für mich ein weiteres Highlight dar. Die Neuabmischungen sind gelungen und stellen zu den Originalen eine tolle Alternative dar. Das Format der Ausgabe (in Buchform) finde ich ebenfalls sehr gut, viel besser als das Format der Deluxe-Ausgabe von Sgt. Peppers, bei der ich mich immer noch ärgere, weil sie nicht ins CD-Regal passt. Kurzum: Dies ist die vierte Ausgabe des weißen Albums, die ich besitze. Keine davon ist entbehrlich. Ich bewerte dieses Album mit 5 Sternen, weil ich wieder mal nicht die Möglichkeit habe sechs oder mehr Sterne zu vergeben.
