I love the portability of this vacuum system. We live in a little house with stairs. Hauling our regular old vacuum--which is a very good one -- around in relatively cramped spaces was really frustrating. This system works beautifully for us. The changeable attachments make it easy to clean even in tight or very low or very narrow spaces. It works long enough on a single charge that I can do nearly an entire floor. The one thing I wish were possible would be to switch to a less powerful suction level. We have old oriental rugs and the suction is so strong I worry about damage. I have to use the upholstery head for the rugs -- an inconvenience but not a terrible one. You have to clean the dust collector after every job -- not that big a deal -- and you have to clean the brushes and the little filter cylinder -- also not that big a deal. Compared to hauling even a compact vacuum around our little house, this is a dream. I love it!

I had a Shark ion FOR 5 years and wanted a new one for many reasons. Vac easy to assemble and to change for accessories. Suction is very good, made for hard floors. Since its so close to the floor its a little harder on carpet to push round but its ok. Will say my ION battery lasted longer but with the smart option running on low and powers up higher when it detects dirt ready helps. Charge stand is the best option with this model. tools are good and like the feel of the plastic they are made of. The bin cup is on the smaller side but real easy to clean verses my ION. The flap that pushes out debris is real nice . MY old vac was impossible to clean out. I had to use a tool to get the dirt out. This bin is round, filter comes out so you can wipe out the bin. For me the ease of cleaning the dirt bin was a real step up. I got about 25 minutes just vacuuming in auto mode. With crevice tool i used the full power button a few times, like under low furniture and I want to be sure it sucks up more stuff i cant see. Overall pretty good stick vac. Its all a gamble if you vac runs for years or is a dud out of the box. if i wanted to pay 600-800$$ for a Dyson I may but for what I paid on sale for the S15 It had all the bells and whistles I need. TOP likes STYLE PRICE FUNCTIONS (AUTO and battery %) CHARGING STAND TOOLS CONS like most stick vac the batteries could be longer lasting. be nice if the front wheels adjusted for carpet great for apartments and condos under 1500sf if you god 2500 and up you may need one to last 40-60 minutes or have 2 batterys.

This vacuum makes cleaning a breeze! It is smooth and light but it is mighty. It cleans hardwood and carpet so well! I like it more than the Dyson stick I had!

Love this vac. I can feel when the suction changes-when increasing. Love that you see the level of dirt. I have long blonde hair and a dog-theres no wrapping the beater bar. Any other vac the beater bar has my hair all wrapped up, not this.

We’ve resorted to using an old bag vacuum instead of the Tineco one since the Tineco is so prone to clogging with hair and dust (2 long hair dogs, 3 cats). Since our house is mostly carpet, all of these hairs, dust, and crumbs get deep into the low-pile carpet and the Tineco struggles to get them out — mainly because it immediately gets clogged with pet and wife hair. The cleaning process is not as easy as you would hope either. There are lots of sharp edges inside the dust chamber that can be pretty uncomfortable when trying to get clogs out of the nozzle of the gun. I’ve also gotten a few clogs inside the extension tube and the carpet vacuum head itself. All of these require me to stop what I’m doing, take the vacuum apart including the head of the vacuum, remove all the dust and debris manually, and put it all back together again. I’m used to cleaning vacuums every once and awhile, but I’ve never had one that got clogged this much. The “auto-vacuum power” seems to also get confused. Sometimes it will detect the smallest thing and ramp up to full speed, sometimes I’ll vacuum up what seems like a whole bag of bread crumbs and it’ll stay at the lowest suction the entire time. Overall, I’d say this vacuum is probably *decent* if you have hard wood or low-pile carpet with pets that don’t shed… After this review I’m docking another star from the product. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this to any of my friends and encourage them to buy something stronger instead. ——Original 4 Star Review—— When it first arrived, this vacuum would suck up anything on the first pass. After a few months of use, (cleaning up after four pets) I’ve found that, even when fully cleaned, the vacuum is struggling to pick up things in the carpet or suck up things all the way into the canister. Overall, the charging dock and attachments are amazing. It’s super easy to hang up and charge. All the attachments are easy to replace and get the hard to reach spots with ease (stairs, trim, corners).

I’ve been using this for a few months now and it is fabulous. We have vinyl plank flooring with rugs. Live on a ranch and also have a toddler so we’re using it daily, often multiple times a day. The only drawback is it doesn’t do SUPER well on carpet/rugs but we use our standard vacuum for that. This cleans up dirt and debris on hard flooring and the light makes it easy to see pet hair and dirt/sand. Never had the battery die and we vacuum multiple rooms. And the attachments are great too. Plus it’s not that loud which is great as our toddler is alarmed by things like blenders, standard vacuum etc. It also doesn’t bother our flighty cats. When you don’t have time to constantly break out the broom and dust pan, this does the trick. Also great to suck up stuff in the car seat, the play area, etc with the multiple attachments.

This vacuum has been super convenient to use in my 500ish square foot apartment. The battery isnt the most capacious ever, so I would want something different for a larger place. The suction is not astounding on my perfect rug but, again, the square footage Im dealing with doesnt make it a good consequence. I have two major pet peeves: 1. There is nothing in place to cut / deal with longer hairs, and the rollers get tangled pretty easily 2. I have to clean the filter more than I would like. I would say every 2 - 3 weeks, vacuuming 2 - 3 times a week. Performance-wise, though - great for small dwellings.

This is a great vacuum, great suction, nice attachments, I like the free standing ability. I would but it again. Better than my Dyson, the real test will be how long it lasts before parts start breaking. It is on the heavier side which I would say is its biggest fault. I do like how it makes the battery last longer by sensing more dirt then it uses more suction. Battery at max speed lasts about 20 min, using it with the sensing ability about 50 minutes give or take depending on the amount of dirt you have to pick up. The wireless ability is just a gimmick and Im a teckkie... you play with it the first couple times and then forget it. All in all it cleans nice, gives your arm a workout, would buy again.

This is one of the best purchases Ive made in the past year. It is going to replace my Shark vacuum for almost everything I need. I wanted to avoid dragging a cord everywhere. I wanted a lightweight machine, easy charging and storage. I have a dog. It picks up her hair effortlessly from the floor and furniture. The swivel head on the large head make getting into awkward spaces. The low profile head make it easy to get under most furniture easy and moving chairs and sofa unnecessary except when you need a complete cleaning. I wish the dust bin were a bit larger, but it is easy to remove and clean. It wont do a whole house on a single charge, bit it will easily handle two rooms. Considering that Ill be using it for years paying a little more is well worth it.

I got the Pure One 15 after my last 2 Dyson cordless V8 & V10 did not have the the value over time I expect at that price. I liked the standing charging dock and that replacement parts/accessories were more reasonably priced. Wirecutter recommends the Pure one, so I decided to try it out. CR no longer recommends cordless sticks bc arent great value over time, but I have LOVED my Dysons in mint condition. I dont think the suction on this compares to my V8, but the battery is probably comparable in run time. The bin is much smaller on the Pure One. It is much quieter than my Dysons have been which is a plus but Id rather louder and vacuum for 3 minutes than quieter and vacuum for 10. On MAX, it is barely more effective than low or auto settings. And it is MUCH much harder to maneuver. Dyson is a zoom zoom and were done, easy breezy experience by comparison. I find I am covering the same territory back and forth and back and forth which is not a big deal in a small space but would drive me nuts in a larger space. But if it lasts as long as my Dysons, it may be acceptable. I kinda like that you dont have to hold the power on but it does save power when pausing. Im not used to clicking it on/off yet when I pause but I can do a daily spin on one charge in my space so it isnt a very big deal. I cannot recommend to Dyson owners, it is heavier, slower, and all around disappointing BUT if you have no comparison and cant or wont spend on a Dyson, many other reviewers seem perfectly satisfied. Currently, the price is same as V8, without comparable loaded accessories from Dyson. I would recommend V8 over the Pure One for the same price. But that could change if this one performs better over time. The standing charging dock was the deciding factor for me on this purchase. I figured knock offs had time to catch up, but this is not what I would consider competitive with a 5 year old Dyson model V8. I will likely return to Dyson on my next purchase having sampled the competition. I feel better about spending on a Dyson, even if it doesnt last as long as it should for the price. The price/longevity is the only disadvantage of the Dysons. I am actually surprised wire cutter selected the Pure One.
