This device is well-built and has good security features. But Trezor has neither native support for connecting to a Bitcoin full node nor native support for 12 word seed phrases (only 24 word seed is selectable). You will have to use additional software and run python programming scripts to get it done. The Trezor has a good user interface and functions perfectly well if all you want to do is HODL. You could just write the 24 word seed on something and store it. However, If full node connectivity and a simpler, more easily memorized 12 word seed instead of 24 is important to you, you may need to keep looking.

Absolutely love the Trezor! Word of advice, dont buy one .. but 2. If one goes bad or is stolen, you can restore your wallet on a second one with your recovery seed. Why wait until you need the second one to buy it, get it in advance. Additional advice to new users: look into and learn to use pass phrases before storing the majority of your lot. Pass phrases provide the ability to hide wallets within the wallet :) .. If theres a con, its that theres forced firmware updates every now and again.

You buy one of these devices when you want to hold your crypto currency yourself on your own device, usually unplugged from a computer and therefore invulnerable to theft and hacking. The instructions were straight forward. The best feature is that if I lose this no one can use it without my pin and logon code. And, if I lose the device, I have established a long list of words as the code to activate another device to hold my crypto. Im new to this and only holding one type of coin. It seems that the newer version of this may be better for those holding many types of coins. Trezor links to a couple exchanges if you choose to use them, but you dont have to. You can use this to trade on any exchange. Just send your coin to the exchange, do whatever you want to with it there and when youre ready bring your crypto coin back to live on your Trezor.

Can just hold more popular coins and Tokens. Cant hold all Crypto.

First time buyer for this type of product, but found it to be impressive. Pros: - Packaged in a secure box with an anti-tamper tape. This is a nice feature as this proves that your device has not been tampered with on the way to your residence. - Device automatically updates and wipes the moment it is inserted into your PC/Mac machine on the Trezor website. - Only way to access the wallet online is if the device is connected to an available USB slot on your PC/Mac - Wallet can provide different wallet addresses that can be used - Can be used with the Sentinel app for ease of use - The numbers displayed on the screen appear in a 3X3 grid and the numbers change position each time you log into the wallet Cons - Easy to lose due its small size - Small screen can be difficult to read especially for confirming the address of the recipient wallet address - Included USB wire is short, so if you have a computer under your desk it makes it difficult to attach - The graphs on the website used to access the device that indicate your spending and receiving is confusing After spending time with this wallet, the benefits of a secure way to store my cryptocurrency out way the negligible downsides.

If you are at all into cryptocurrency, a physical hardware wallet is a must have. Its like a Fort Knox for your crypto that fits into your pocket. The security features on this thing are incredibly complex, yet the interface is designed in such a way that makes it very easy to use. It is a great invention. It does extremely complex tasks with an extremely friendly user interface; the way all great machines are designed. At $36.00, I think its a great deal for what youre getting.

Trezor is the best hardware wallet for Bitcoin that I’ve used yet. I like that I can customize the front, I chose the Times of London paper. It’s one of the most versatile bitcoin hardware wallets, and it’s founded by cyberpunk bitcoiners. I don’t really trust buying cryptocurrency wallets on amazon for myself. You never know what happens in between. It’s best to buy direct from the manufacturer if you want to avoid there being a Man In The Middle attack. I ended up giving this one away as a gift because I’m a bit paranoid.

Good price, came quick. It is much smaller than I thought it would be (about the size of a sub drive). It is very easy to set up and use. Glad I got it. The only annoying thing is that it wont let you use the Trezor interface to view and manage your ethereum. It forces you to download and use a 2nd interface that comes from ethereum which is much more confusing and definitely pointless. Its extra sad because the trezor interface is really easy to navigate. So if you have ether be prepared for an extra pain in the ass.

All wallets require a learning curve, but this is easy to use after a bit of practice. Recommend getting familiar using the wallet using tiny, expendable amounts of crypto at first. The app has very easily accessed features.
