> 3 dayI cannot blame the product because i am not 100% certain, but with the level of care i put into backing up the wallet and triple checking my seed phrase, i am led to believe the first seed phrase the device gave me was a dud... Currently locked out of my bitcoin, did a firmware update and when i was asked to reenter the seed phrase it didnt work. Im not blaming trezor, but i wanted to at least state my experience in a review so if this happens to anyone else we might be able to find a pattern and recourse.

> 3 dayIf you are at all into cryptocurrency, a physical hardware wallet is a must have. Its like a Fort Knox for your crypto that fits into your pocket. The security features on this thing are incredibly complex, yet the interface is designed in such a way that makes it very easy to use. It is a great invention. It does extremely complex tasks with an extremely friendly user interface; the way all great machines are designed. At $36.00, I think its a great deal for what youre getting.

> 3 dayTL;DR it is important to responsibly store your keys, so get them offline. A Trezor is a safe and easy way to do so. I started looking into buying a hardware wallet about a year ago after watching Andreas Antonopoulos talk about tiered storage of Bitcoin. Basically, a hot wallet on a phone with a little money for day to day spending, and the rest in varying degrees of cold storage. I feel like it applies to everyone because regardless of how much anyone has, the important thing, in my opinion, is to get in the habit of responsibly storing Bitcoin. After almost a year of using my Trezor, I still am very happy. The things I like most: - It is easy to use: even bought ones for my parents. It actually helped a lot with teaching them about Bitcoin. - Open-source: essentially everything, from their firmware to the actual hardware, is open source. This is comforting to me because it means that everyone in the world can look at their design and study it and help improve it. A couple things I dont like, but that arent that big of a deal yet: - The Trezor wallet uses bitcore as the full node backend. Id like to have the option of using bitcoind. - I cant yet receive to a bech32 address, but I think this is coming soon. - I would personally like to see more privacy technologies implemented, specifically BIP47. I cannot speak to the quality of their customer support because Ive never had to contact them. I will update my review if anything changes.

> 3 dayI seldome write reviews that are negative unless they are very warranted. I purchased this item a little over a year and a half ago and it say unused in its box since then. When I opened and began the process of linking the device to my crypto wallet the link failed and now after literally one use it cannot connect to any computer. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my purchase and hope the seller will make this right.

Greater than one weekThe Trezor is the perfect secure hardware device for long term storage of your bitcoins. The ideal use case is to store bitcoin savings, and use the device to occasionally top up a mobile wallet which is used for casual spending. The Trezor is not designed for everyday casual spending, as currently it must connect to a computer via a cable in order to spend. Another use case is to slowly accumulate bitcoins using dollar cost averaging, and send the purchased bitcoins to the Trezor, which can be stored in a safe deposit box or home safe. You do not need to access the physical device to add bitcoins, only to spend. The device is extremely light and small, and can easily be carried with you, although that is not needed for the use cases described above. Hopefully a future version will work with mobile phones and without a cable. There was a limited run of aluminum devices, which would be nice to have as a buying option now, in addition to the plastic.

> 3 dayIm VERY impressed with the thought that went into the design of this product. I had some trouble setting it up because I failed to notice the device is so sophisticated that it CHANGES the position of the numbers EVERY TIME you enter the pin. A GREAT feature that took me by surprise. Since buying this product, Ive found a website called Purse.io which makes it possible for me to PURCHASE AMAZON PRODUCTS WITH BITCOIN. Is that not heaven or what !

> 3 dayLedger Nano S has some major competition. It supports a variety of coins and gets more support for newer coins every few months. Trezor is platform agnostic - You can use any modern OS to connect to the device - except iOS because Apple. It supports BTC, BCH. BCG, LTC, and DASH via your browser - no addtional software. You plug it in and go to wallet.trezor.io then logon and youre in. ETC, ETH and ERC-20 tokens require MyEtherWallet/MEW to send and receive. This loses a star because its not all intergrated with the Trezor wallet webpage. I will add a star when the wallet can be used completely via the page. OH! The screen has customization too! You can choose a pic from the built in gallery or provide your own pic.

15-06-2025This is an excellent wallet that keeps your coin safer than software wallets, or - god forbid - trusting an exchange with your fortune. It was easier to use than I anticipated: firmware and software installed easily (even on Linux), and you operate it through your PC (I thought you had to enter your PIN and passphrase on the tiny thing, but the two buttons on it are only for Yes/No decisions). My favorite feature is that it can have hidden wallets which are encrypted with a passphrase. This way, you can have a decoy wallet with a low balance on it, and keep the stash away from anyone that asks, say, at customs. Speaking of stealth, Im glad this device looks a little cheap, as if it was an AC remote or something, and not like it has nuclear codes on it like the Ledger Nano. As a neat surprise value, the maker also has a password manager in the works (currently in Beta), which looks promising, and again, should be more secure than using a software-only solution.

> 3 dayBout mine four years ago and kept it in a safe. Used a few times without problems, then it BROKE after installing an update from the trezor website and now won’t turn on. Support says it’s likely bricked
