Trigger Start Torch

> 3 dayIt seems quality control has gone badly wrong with several buyers having the same faults. Poor spark ignition and in my case the main body housing started to leak gas after only 2 weeks of home use. After putting a simple soap bubble test on all the joints/openings my unit let gas escape from the constant use silver button on the top of the black cast housing - see picture. No reply from customer service.

> 3 dayAfter 9 months of very light use - maybe 10 times/month - seems to be falling apart. The small black insulator for the ignition wire is missing, allowing the feeder tube to move around, and could potentially short out the ignition wire. The torch tube is also loose and moves around. There may be a relatively simple fix, but a device this expensive should be more reliable.

> 3 dayGreat torch for Sous Vide meats and adds that char to the outside without heating up the grill or skillet. Does make a about the same mess with popping grease/spices if you do it on the stove.

> 3 dayI was kind a pinch needing one of these and the upper model was only one that was in stock. Before I always just turn the knob on and use the striker to light the torch but this thing is a Cadillac compared to that method. Just pull the trigger and you have fire. Even works upside down.

> 3 dayThis thing is awesome! Definitely more powerful than I needed for the specific job I bought it for however will no doubt come in super handy for projects in the future. I also love the fact that you can lock it in the on position so you can maneuver it and your fingers wont get worn out... but be careful with this feature, makes it a little easier to burn you or burn the place down if you dont pay attention.
