> 3 dayOne of the best monitors in the under $250 range. The flexible stand and the wide viewing angle are the key stand-out features of this monitor. Giving it a 4-stars, since the USB ports in the monitor do not support my wireless keyboard and mouse. Those ports can be used for all other purposes.

> 3 dayMonitor has AMAZING color & vibrance with very little light bleeding. MONITOR CAN BE OVERCLOCKED ABOUT 20HZ OVER THE STANDARD. This may not be so for every monitor, but with an Nvidia video card I overclocked it to about 72Hz. Very Happy with all Dell monitors, great value for the price. Buttons are nice, not clunky and power button has a nice LED so you can turn on monitor in with no lights on. Turned it on and off about 20 times a day for years so it is VERY DURABLE.

> 3 dayThis monitor is beautiful. Colors are vibrant and realistic. This monitor needed almost no adjustment from stock. I grabbed an ICC profile from a certain professional review site based in the UK and set custom color of 100/98/98, and everything looks perfect. The contrast ratio is high, around 1,100 native according to that same review site. Blacks are deep for this type of panel, which makes colors look even more strong. Motion is smooth and there is no ghosting. There is a touch of glow in the corners, which is normal for IPS/PLS monitors. It isnt very strong, however, and is only visible when youre watching dark scenes or playing dark games. The first monitor I received does have a slight backlight bleed in the bottom left hand corner that can mess with colors and black depth when the monitor isnt angled right. Ive since figured out how to position it ideally and it doesnt bother me. Its almost impossible to spot unless youre looking for it on a full black screen. The replacement I ordered was much worse, so I returned it and kept the original. Id advise anyone that orders one of these monitors (or any IPS/PLS monitor, given my experience with a few other monitors) to fill an image in Microsoft Paint with black, then full screen it so that the entire screen is fully black. If you see heavy glow anywhere, move your head so that youre viewing the area dead on, not at an angle. If the glow goes away, its just glow. If, however, some of it lingers, theres a backlight bleed there, and you have a decision to make - throw the dice and request a replacement, or give it a shot and see if you can live with it. This will only really be an issue if you use your monitor to play dark games (Dead Space, Metro) or watch movies on your PC. It might be problematic for people doing graphics work, too, but Id imagine theyd know how to work around it. Regardless, if youre a gamer or want to watch movies on your computer, Id check your screen for backlight bleeds first thing before getting too settled into it. IPS/PLS monitors seem to have a real problem with it because even a tiny backlight bleed causes heavy additional glow. That said, if you can get one of these that looks right, its a great monitor. Im fairly happy with mine. Its awesome in games. The only mark against it is the backlight bleed.

> 3 daySo far so good. I just it hooked up yesterday. The factory settings has the screen way too bright and it had to be turned way down to even come close to my calibrated Sony monitor. I cant comment on the color accuracy until I get it calibrated, but based on a visual comparison w/ my calibrated Sony monitor, Id say it is much too bright and the colors are much too saturated, right out of the box. Works fine for its secondary purpose, which is watching movies from the computer.

> 3 dayOverall, a great purchase. I was able to easily project windows 10 to two of them, with no performance issues as has been reported with other monitors, although I have not ever experienced that myself. They are easily rotatable and perfectly fine to play games on. I bought them with the intention of having code displayed on a monitor rotated 90 degrees. They provide enough real estate when rotated to comfortably fit long inline statements, and are not too tall as to make parts of the screen unusable with such an orientation. The monitor has plenty of room to be slid higher, so it should be comfortable for people who are taller. Price was the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.

> 3 dayIve had this monitor for a few months now and I really recommend it. Short review: If youre looking for a good monitor that is fully adjustable, this is the one for you. I spent quite a bit of time researching all different monitors trying to figure out which would be best suited for me. I am going to school for graphic design and computer science so I wanted a monitor that had accurate color reproduction but could also pivot for when I am coding. As far as being adjustable, this monitor is a beast. It can pivot, swivel, be height adjusted, etc. The only design flaw that bothers me is that there is a cut out in the neck of the monitor for cords (to clean up any cable mess that may ensue) and when you go to pivot the monitor into portrait mode the cords can restrict that if there isnt enough slack. Not a huge deal but definitely something to take note of if youre going to be constantly changing the orientation of the monitor. The unit has a plethora of I/O, but one thing that is missing is an HDMI port. Surely I knew this when I bought it, but I must have forgotten cause I was pretty bummed a few weeks ago when I went to plug in something via HDMI and I couldnt. Build quality is pretty good, though I did notice some give in the bezel of the monitor in a couple places. Upon further inspection there were some small gaps between the bezel and the actual screen panel. Nothing noticeable when youre sitting down and using the monitor, but still worth mentioning. There is a little bit of backlight show through in the lower left corner on my unit, but thats to be expected with this type of screen technology. The viewing angles are outstanding, as is the overall screen panel. Great refresh rate, great colors after you tweak them (well get to that in a moment), and doesnt take up a whole lot of room on your desk. Out of the box the colors on this unit were slightly yellow... I had received the dreaded A00 rev. Most people recommend returning the unit because they can never get the yellow to completely go away, but with some tweaking I was able to get it fairly close to my 15 Retina Macbook Pro screen colors. If you end up getting an A00 unit, Id say the decision is up to you: you can return it and hopefully get a different version that doesnt have this yellow tint problem, or spend an hour or so tweaking the color profile until it works for you. All in all I would recommend this monitor in a heartbeat. For the price youre getting a seriously good monitor. It doesnt have the best build quality or the thinnest bezels, and you may have to tweak your color profile out of the box, but its worth it for the high quality panel plus all of the adjustable features that it provides. Pros: - Pivot screen - Great viewing angles - Overall high quality panel Cons: - May get a unit with a yellow tint - No HDMI - Build quality is only good, not great

> 3 dayI ordered two of these monitors and they look great. I have three issues with them, however: 1. No DVI cables included. They include a USB cable, a DisplayLink cable, and a VGA cable, but no DVI. I intended to use them over DVI, so I had to go buy separate cables. 2. The USB hub ports are covered by the cable management shield and are not easily accessible. There is a single USB port on the rear that can be used with the cable guard in place, but it isnt nearly as convenient as the side-mounted USB ports on my 24 Dell monitors. 3. The packaging was terribly difficult to open. I was actually concerned I might damage the monitor trying to get it out of the box. Opening the second one, I thought it would be easier after learning from the first, but it was still just as hard. I like to keep monitor and PC case boxes in case I need to move, but these were damaged beyond use trying to get the monitors out.

> 3 dayNeeded it for Amiga 500 display, still waiting on an adapter from another vendor. It has great color and I really like the stand as it can do landscape and portrait. The monitor arrived on time and was packaged extremely well. Kudos to the vendor for the packing.
