> 3 dayOverall, a great purchase. I was able to easily project windows 10 to two of them, with no performance issues as has been reported with other monitors, although I have not ever experienced that myself. They are easily rotatable and perfectly fine to play games on. I bought them with the intention of having code displayed on a monitor rotated 90 degrees. They provide enough real estate when rotated to comfortably fit long inline statements, and are not too tall as to make parts of the screen unusable with such an orientation. The monitor has plenty of room to be slid higher, so it should be comfortable for people who are taller. Price was the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.

> 3 dayI needed a monitor to connect to my MacBook Air for graphic design purposes, and this display really is perfect for the job. After calibrating the monitor using settings from tftcentrals review, the overall quality is pretty amazing. Its solidly built with a classy aesthetic that could easily be mistaken for an Apple brand Thunderbolt display with its aluminum-like finish, plenty of ports for a variety of devices (I use a mini-displayport to displayport adapter to connect the display to my MacBook), and the built in USB hub is pretty convenient. My only gripes are that I cannot daisy chain this display with another P2414H and that when I received my monitor, it had the remnants of a displayport cable connector still in the actual displayport. I suppose some overzealous quality control employee tried to remove a displayport cable without pushing down on the connectors release mechanism first and ended up yanking the cable out, leaving behind the displayport connector sleeve that locks in. The actual connector on the monitor is fine, but I hope Dells QC personnel are trained to properly remove cables from a monitor in the future, haha.

> 3 dayThis monitor is good for the price and I have had no problems viewing it. I turned the brightness down a good bit because it is really bright. I just dont like bright lights. Even after turning down the brightness, the works are still clear. I recommend this model.

> 3 dayIm not gaming, so I cant comment on refresh time (keeps up with Microsoft Office just fine!), but I got what I expected and hoped for: Nice Dell packaging and setup instructions and a monitor that simply worked just fine. My application was to have a larger screen for a family member who requires magnification because of vision limitations. This monitor will be helpful, and I felt the price was good. Its also nice that the monitor can rotate into portrait orientation.

> 3 dayOverall I like my monitor. Pros: - I love the ergonomic features. Height, tilt, swivel and pivot! - Text is OK. I code... a lot. Ill be updating later one after a year of use. Caveats: - I liked that it came with a DisplayPort. However I was sad to find out I couldnt use it because my laptop had a mini-displayport instead. My bad. I bought a mini-display port cable (Accell B143B-007J UltraAV Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.2 Cable) and the image quality is a lot better than using the hdmi-dvi cable cable I had. Text is sharper, cleaner. - Still, I think text could look better. I remember reading some reviews here about disabling some image enhancement feature, which I think I already disabled. Ill double-check this and update if I can get the text to look better upon further inspection. - I also bought this monitor to be able to hook up my micro-HDMI windows tablet. For some reason (maybe the cable) the text doesnt looks as good as in my office Dell U2412M. On my office set-up I use and micro-HDMI to HDMI cable. At home, I first tried the HDMI-DVI cable but everything looks fuzzy with that one. I was disappointed I couldnt use a HDMI-to-DVI adapter as the design of the back of the monitor doesnt have enough room. Ill need an HDMI 270 degree angled adapter (which I just bought) to make it work. Im hoping for the best here. Is all of this too much hassle? Its for you to decide. Its all in function of your time and money to make your set-up work for you. Cheers!

> 3 dayI bought one of these monitors from Microcenter back in December and it worked pretty well for me. It was recently determined that I will be working from home indefinitely, so I decided I wanted another one of these monitors to make my setup ideal. Microcenter stopped selling this model and I really wanted to have the same one because I’m obsessive about symmetry. Thankfully this seller on Amazon still has them in stock. The monitor arrived quickly and in the official Dell box. Got it attached to the desk mount and working within minutes. Art of my job involves a lot of data entry on a huge list, so the portrait mode has worked out really well for me. I have the monitors plugged in with DVI to HDMI cables. One goes to the back of my laptop and the other goes to a USB 3.0 docking station. The setup is working perfectly so far.

> 3 dayIts a really nice monitor. I like it because it has the DVI connections that are used by my video card (some years old now). Some of the other Dell monitors didnt have this connector. UPDATE: This monitor has now failed completely. The monitor was flickering and buzzing while *no video input was attached*. It is less than a year old. I cant even see the onscreen menus (accessed via buttons on front of monitor) Warranty replacement is through DELL. If you need to return this for warranty replacement, be prepared to spend hours on the phone. I was asked all sorts of stupid questions from a customer service rep @ DELL. I explained this 3 times to the dell rep who continually then asked me to try switching video inputs from my computer. She was just reading scripts like a talking parrot. Asking me this stupid troubleshooting script again and again. And she was very difficult to understand (English). UPDATE: DELL finally came through and sent a replacement. Im not happy with the monitor failing, but Im even more unsatisfied with the stupid DELL rep who wont listen; wantonly wasting my time. I had to explain to her several times that the blurred lines and flickering were happening *without any video input*. After sending a proof of purchase, now the replacement will take 7-10 business days, so Im told. will see what happens.

> 3 dayIve had the monitor for about 2 months now. Picture quality is very good and makes this monitor a bargain. The settings are intuitive and easy to use. The only minor downside is there is not HDMI, but the picture quality is still excellent and crispy. If the monitor still works 2 years from now I will give it 5 stars.

Greater than one weekThe product (monitor) was fine, was delivered even earlier than expected, but it just wasnt a fit for my system. Great company to buy from and I will order again. Thanks Mike!
