Used on a 2-week camping trip to hold down the fort; it worked perfectly.

I use this cable to lock up my mountain bike on my car bike rack. Its long enough to lock securely 2 bikes. Ive left this cable outside for most of the time I owned it and it hasnt deteriorated in any way.

This is a very light duty cable. This is clearly implied by the description, so I did get what I paid for. You can insert one end through a hole down to about 1-1/4 inches with some effort. 1-3/8 inches no problem. You can pass one end through the other ends loop to make a choker. Again, this is very light duty. This only offers minimal protection. On the upside, it is very lightweight and flexible. The crimps are sealed very well. However, the cable protection coating is very thin. I would have liked it to be a little thicker for corrosion and abrasion resistance. Overall, this is a light duty cable for minimal protection. It will basically only stop someone that has little will to steal your stuff and/or has no tools. Just about any cable cutter will go through this with minimal effort. For my application, I just couldnt go larger and needed something lightweight. This cable fits the bill. A little pricey for what you get, but competing products cost about the same. I would buy again, but would wait for a sale.

We use this cable as the painter for our inflatable tender. It fits through most large dock cleats and has not shown any adverse effects from the salt water/marine environment. It also does not get kinked up or tangled. It rolls easily, but wants to be straight.

I needed a decent length cable to go with my 4 bike hitch carrier. While, as others have noted, any cable can be cut, this one will take some work. The cable is pretty stout to the point of being a bit difficult to maneuver. Still, once in place, it gives a good solid feel and the casing that protects the steel cable appears pretty thick and I expect it to hold up well.

I have a trailer hitch rack that holds four bicycles. I got this to wrap around the bike and lock to the hitch to secure the bikes and the rack. It is the perfect length for that and seems sturdy. Sure, it can be cut easily with the right equipment, but Im not relying on this for locking bikes up at night or anything - just when Im nearby but cant keep my eyes on the bikes.

Ive bought a bunch, if you want heavier duty than this, youre going to pay more (so stop looking at this price point).

This cable is very heavy duty... more so than I expected when it was purchased. Still, that is probably good from a security standpoint. I would definitely not buy anything less than 8mm, and this 10mm isnt bad. I use it to lock my Nanuk (hard plastic) case when on job sites. Dont forget that any size cable is easily defeated with a pair of wire snips. The thicker ones just take more time to cut.

loops are much larger than anticipated so had to get an extra lock or two for that but overall, sturdy, and durable, has come in handy to keep gear locked up in the bed of my truck

Excellent length for wrapping around two bikes at the campsite while attached to the travel trailer. Nice thick cord.
