Cable cords work but are stiff when first opened and a little hard to work with. Make sure to buy a lock that is large enough for the loop end.

I love the fact the cable is long and doesnt have a me.ory to prevent me from putting it where I want it quickly. It is easy to weave through the frames and I can lock up my bikes without any issues. Great value for the money.

Very heavy duty, and very freaking long. I forgot how long this thing was when I ordered it, I bought this to loop around my tire and secure my wheel chocks in place. 1. So my wheel chocks dont walk away. 2. I figured I could use its length for random items when leaving the camp site. I love how thick it is with a durable casing, and the price was just right. Make sure you get a lock with at least a 1-1/4 shank.

No cable is going to save your bike from theft but this one is as good as any other Ive used in the past. Its a fairly heavy gauge cable so it might give a criminal shopping for a bike second thoughts about getting through it before being noticed. Because the cable is thick it is a bit inflexible but thats the tradeoff.

This is a very light duty cable. This is clearly implied by the description, so I did get what I paid for. You can insert one end through a hole down to about 1-1/4 inches with some effort. 1-3/8 inches no problem. You can pass one end through the other ends loop to make a choker. Again, this is very light duty. This only offers minimal protection. On the upside, it is very lightweight and flexible. The crimps are sealed very well. However, the cable protection coating is very thin. I would have liked it to be a little thicker for corrosion and abrasion resistance. Overall, this is a light duty cable for minimal protection. It will basically only stop someone that has little will to steal your stuff and/or has no tools. Just about any cable cutter will go through this with minimal effort. For my application, I just couldnt go larger and needed something lightweight. This cable fits the bill. A little pricey for what you get, but competing products cost about the same. I would buy again, but would wait for a sale.

I use this in conjunction with Master Lock Outdoor Combination Lock, Heavy Duty Weatherproof Padlock to secure my kayak to my boat dock. I like the fact that its weather proof and has so far resisted corrosion from the salt water.

Bought this product to lock my 4-wheeler down while at deer camp, while I am back at the office working during the week. Bolt cutters would have a harder time with this cable than with a chain, and this is coated so it wont rust. Great product.

Bought this ahead of time to lock bikes in our pickup with a matching lock. Went to my sons first high school race 4 hours away and could not get the lock undone. Took almost 15 minutes. I thought he would have to borrow another persons bike. Super frustrating. We eventually got it unlocked and had to use the lock again because staying outside over night. Had the same problem and took again almost 15 minutes to finally get it open. Because we planned ahead, we missed the 3 day return window so were out the money. Im guessing we can get a warranty replacement, but will now pay for shipping for an item I will not trust. Cable worked great, but lock was a nightmare.

Used this to keep a few kayaks secure from the casual thief. Long enough to loop thru a kayak and around a post.
