16-06-2025I bought this to add a little security to our hitch mounted cargo bag. I loop in around the whole assembly a few times and lock it in place. I wont prevent someone from stealing anything when it comes down to it, but it can slow them down enough that it is a deterrent in parking lots and rest stops when were not away from the car for long periods of time. I found the cable to be high quality and very well made.

Greater than one weekPro: This rope is tough and wrapped in soft stuff so there is no scratching or scuffing. People wont waste any time attacking it with clippers or saws or tugging or any smash and grab tactic. Con: It is heavy, but not too heavy. It is short (15 feet), but not so short you cant wind it around your stuff two or three time so everyone gets the idea, Dont get so busy that you cant run for it! If you know the difference between discretion and valor, grab a hank!

Greater than one weekPurchased this cable to lock my row boat to the dock in order to keep the kids from taking the boat out. It is just the right length for my purposes and because it is covered in plastic, it will handle the outside elements for years.

> 3 dayThis is a nice, thick cable thats rugged and long enough to loop from a lock near the center of the bike around one tire and easily fits through both tires and a lock if you loop the cable through itself. Note the MasterLock logo wore off after one day of use XD.
