> 3 dayUnfortunately we live in a world where some people can not act like adults, and are a pest to society. Its thanks to them that measures of security need to be taken. Through this cable is very nice and strong, it is not 100% fool proof! Its good enough to shy away most people from stealing a bike; however this cable could be cut with big pliers/cutters (though most people wont be carrying them with themselves). Good for securing bikes, or scooters.

> 3 dayWe use it to lock our RV propane tanks in place. Super tough, rubber covered and thick enough to need big cutter and plenty of strength.

Greater than one weekAs heavy duty as one would expect, or want for that matter. Since its looped it does want to return to a slightly curved shape. Therefore, for storage or transport you can coil it pretty much as you wish within the limits of the material, but have a strong rubber band or other means handy to keep it coiled.

> 3 dayI used it to securely store my cars regular tires for the winter. Its ideal for this task since I didnt wanna chain them which would have scratched the alloy wheels. The length is so good that I could have locked another set of tires along too.

> 3 dayDont plan to take this with you, its really only going to be of use in your own garage. When I go out of town I lock all three motorcycles together with this cable just to be a little bit more difficult to rob. This is in addition to multiple individual locks on each bike, i.e. steering, front brake, rear sprocket, immobilizer, and of course locked garage and full coverage insurance. There is no such thing as a burglar-proof lock, but you can make yourself a less appealing target. This is just another layer of security. Make sure to buy a U-Bolt lock of comparable quality.

> 3 dayI bought a Kryptonite cable that is similar to this and really like the flexibility of the braided cable over the standard twisted cable, but it was too short for my purposes and Kryptonite didnt make a longer cable for a reasonable price (that I could find). I was a little cautious about this cables flexibility based on a few of the reviews, but that was short lived once I received it. This cable is quite flexible (equal to the expensive Kryptonite) and very well protected with a vinyl coated cable and plastic coated crimps so that no metal is exposed to possibly damage an expensive item. I load two-three bikes on my hitch rack or in the bed of my truck and this cable easily interweaves through all of the frames and wheels for a positive securing with a quality padlock to a somewhat-secure, bolted-on connector on my truck. Like all good cables, this only provides deterrent-level security since it can be cut with the proper tools; however, that is all I need. If you want to secure your bike to a rack outside and go to work or school inside, this is not sufficient on its own, but works well in conjunction with a u-lock (for the frame) and an immovable rack.

09-06-2025Everybody at the kayak launch wants one! Strong cable, deep rubberized coating, not at all stiff. I was pleasantly surprised by how suitable this cable was for locking up my boat. Bought one as a gift for a friend. Odd gift, but much appreciated.
