> 3 dayThis is a very light duty cable. This is clearly implied by the description, so I did get what I paid for. You can insert one end through a hole down to about 1-1/4 inches with some effort. 1-3/8 inches no problem. You can pass one end through the other ends loop to make a choker. Again, this is very light duty. This only offers minimal protection. On the upside, it is very lightweight and flexible. The crimps are sealed very well. However, the cable protection coating is very thin. I would have liked it to be a little thicker for corrosion and abrasion resistance. Overall, this is a light duty cable for minimal protection. It will basically only stop someone that has little will to steal your stuff and/or has no tools. Just about any cable cutter will go through this with minimal effort. For my application, I just couldnt go larger and needed something lightweight. This cable fits the bill. A little pricey for what you get, but competing products cost about the same. I would buy again, but would wait for a sale.

> 3 dayWe bought these to lock up our kayaks in the backyard for a sense of security. We live in a safe neighborhood, but you never know these days. I added a Master Lock keyed lock to lock them up and we run the cable through both hand holes plus around the Kayaks and the tarp covering them. Should keep them dry and secure from just a random thief. The cable says its saw proof and cutter proof, but Im sure a good pair of bolt cutters would cut through it or the lock. You can never be 100%, but this is a good theft deterrent. We might use this cable to lock the kayaks to a roof rack when on vacation too! The plastic coating on the cable will help with scraping any car surface plus the cable itself is flexible like a thick rope so run through small gaps.

> 3 dayI’m using this to secure my patio furniture, and 15ft sounds like a lot, but it was just long enough to tie all three pieces together as well as secure them to my porch post. This does not keep a coil shape (which I’m really, really happy about), so it surprised me when it practically burst out of its packaging once I cut all the zip ties! It also goes really well with my black furniture and isn’t unsightly at all. Having this makes me feel more relaxed about leaving my furniture out on my back porch.

14-06-2025No cable is going to save your bike from theft but this one is as good as any other Ive used in the past. Its a fairly heavy gauge cable so it might give a criminal shopping for a bike second thoughts about getting through it before being noticed. Because the cable is thick it is a bit inflexible but thats the tradeoff.

> 3 dayPurchased to secure my kayak closer to the boat dock when out camping, and I was surprised by how thick the cable was. I almost went for a larger size and Im glad I didnt. Worked perfect and the length was great.

Greater than one weekUnfortunately we live in a world where some people can not act like adults, and are a pest to society. Its thanks to them that measures of security need to be taken. Through this cable is very nice and strong, it is not 100% fool proof! Its good enough to shy away most people from stealing a bike; however this cable could be cut with big pliers/cutters (though most people wont be carrying them with themselves). Good for securing bikes, or scooters.
