I installed Netgear Orbi RBK-50 in my home and detached garage. I wanted a wired backhaul between the 2 units but only had coax between the buildings. The Motorola MoCA adapters work perfectly. I’m getting the 400Mbps I’m paying for anywhere on my acre. No reason to doubt the adapters could handle Gigabit Ethernet, though I haven’t tried it.

Plug and play. Works great and less expensive than fishing Ethernet line through walls.

no more worrying about dead wifi spots. simple plug and play. if you have cable internet, follow these steps to connect first connect the poe filter to the outside where the cable comes in next, connect the moca adapter from the wall to the network port. connect the device port to the cable modem. plug an ethernet cable from the modem to the router wan port. connect an ethernet cable from moca adapter to any of the router lan ports. connect the other moca adapter network port to your desired location wall coax jack. connect an ethernet cable from ethernet port to a pc or any other network device. turn the adapters on . it will take a minute or two to connect. update: not reliable. now having problems disconnecting the cable modem internet connection. have to reboot the moca adapter in order to get it working again. wouldnt mind but have to do this almost every day. after removing this adapter, i no longer have issues with internet dropping. i am using a 2.4ghz splitter and a poe filter at the home entry Update: issue is with the cable that was provided. Replaced them and now all better

I used this product to add a wireless access point in my pool house (which is 150+ feet away from my main WIFI router) using the existing coax cable lines. The product was easy to install. I now have 50 Mbs access (which is the Max I get from the cable internet provider) where I had little or no WIFI signal before.

Have internet coming into house only (we use Netflix,Hulu, etc. only) in basement, Hooked up new box to back of router with cat V cable, then to outgoing coax cable that goes to room and plugged in outlet. Next, at far side of house in bedroom I Hooked up wall coax to box, box to PlayStation with cat V cable and plugged in. Checked with laptop and signal is great. Plugged into PlayStation and all good.

It will not work with Comcast. Tried everything and even had the rep on the phone try to make it work for almost 2 hours. We were both curious if it was human error or just incompatible. As soon as the filters are installed and the MoCA is enabled via the gateway; all the WiFi and internet went down. Tried a few times and it just kept occurring. tested it on my friends Fios set up and it worked amazingly.

It gets the job done without me tearing out walls/ceilings/floors and running Ethernet.

Got a pair of these to replace low cost, lower speed MOCA adapters that lasted a year and then became unreliable. These have been in service for two weeks, reliable so far, with speeds above 300 Mbit/sec. Install was easy, just connected everything and away they go. Recommended.

Great value for the price. Getting 2 for what I paided for was the best descion I have ever done. Easy to I stall and the speeds I get are fantastic even compared to my power line adapter i was using.

needed a new wired Ethernet drop in a location where it would be VERY difficult to pull new cable. But, there was an existing RG-6 coax drop nearby. So, I put these MOCA adapters at each end of the drop, pulled the Ethernet from one to a switch, and from the other to the office equipment. Works perfectly.
