> 3 dayI used the adapter for a 2 port KVM switch with PS2 connectors for one of the computers. I went through 2 keyboards and a mouse before I found a third pair that would work. The keyboard that worked was a Inland brand from Microcenter and the mouse was generic. I adapter works well once the right keyboard and mouse were found. I gave it four stars because of the trouble making it work.

> 3 dayI have an OLD keyboard, which I love, and this connects the ps2 to usb. It works. That’s 90%. No negative surprises. And it looks like it will last. What more could I want?!

> 3 dayI tried 3 others from Amazon, some that people said would work, and they all failed. This was my 4th try and this one works. Its the only one I have found so far that will work on my keyboard. I have a blue cube I bought about 5-6 years ago and it still works, but my son wanted the same keyboard for his computer. I didnt know the blue cube was extinct. Others said they would work but they did not - this one did.

> 3 dayeasily use your PS/2 KB an mouse on laptops or any computer. TIPs: * First time plugging in to computer, do it without devices attached. Let the system load the drivers for the composite USB device. When done, unplug, attach your devices then replug to usb port. It will then find the drivers for mouse and keyboad attached. * If after steps above, both KB and mouse arent working, unplug - then plugin usb again

> 3 dayI have an elderly brother-in-law with an older keyboard, but with a floor-standing computer that does not have the old PS2 keyboard jack. We used this cable cord adapter in order that the keyboard can use a USB port and it works like a charm! An excellent product.

> 3 dayI have an old PS2 keyboard that I refuse to retire but an upgraded laptop / docking station at work no longer supported PS2. This worked perfectly, plug & play. Ive had an adapter like this before and this one seems more solidly built. I do a lot of Alt- and Ctrl- keyboard shortcuts and I havent experienced the problem mentioned in other reviews around simultaneous keypresses. I dont game with this, though, and that sounded like when the problem was most likely to occur. But my experience with this has been identical to when I had a native PS2 port.

> 3 dayI give this 5 stars because it works great. At first my computer wasnt taking it, wasnt finding a driver for it. Then it said to put it into another USB port that I have and it downloaded the driver needed and SO FAR!!! its working great. I have 2 perfectly new keyboards that are PS/2 and I had to buy a USB one and I didnt like that one at all and I wanted my good ole keyboard back. So I searched on here until I found the right one. You have to have the KVM in the middle of both ends. Not just the little small adapter they have. This one works for keyboards and mouse both. But you need the KVM part with this. And it says that in the description so I knew I was getting the right one. A must have for someone that wants to use their old PS/2 keyboards/mice on a USB computer. Glad I got it and hope it continues to do the job. So far so good.!!!! :-)
