Greater than one weekNotice how this one is stated to be compatible with a KVM switch. Support PS/2 Port of KVM Switch - Built-in USB IC. Not all of these adapters state that compatibility. Boy what a nightmare I had because I used one that was not compatible with my 4 port PS/2 KVM Switch & Windows 10 pro had a problem loading in a Generic Driver for it & I had no Keyboard or Mouse. So if you use a KVM Switch try this one. As soon as I used this one, problem solved, & as another reviewer pointed out, plug this adapter in 1st & the OS load in the Generic Driver, then plug in Leboard & Mouse.

Greater than one weekWorks great. I use it only for my old PS/2 keyboard outlet. I guess should work good with the old ball mouse.

> 3 dayMy husband wanted this for his keyboard that doesn’t have a ps/2 port, on his new motherboard. The device feels like it’s nice quality but it fails when the button is being held down for some time (for gaming) it stops working and he has to repress the button. Can be horrible for gaming but good for someone else who just likes the feel of an older keyboard.

> 3 dayI use a Compaq keyboard so you know it is old. Needed adaptor to use it with a modern Dell computer and it works great.

> 3 dayI had 2 computers at work that are on a KVM. One computer got replaced and the new one didnt have standard PS2 ports like the KVM requires. I tried this and it worked for the keyboard but not the mouse. Now, we have to have 2 mice at the workstation.

> 3 dayI give this 5 stars because it works great. At first my computer wasnt taking it, wasnt finding a driver for it. Then it said to put it into another USB port that I have and it downloaded the driver needed and SO FAR!!! its working great. I have 2 perfectly new keyboards that are PS/2 and I had to buy a USB one and I didnt like that one at all and I wanted my good ole keyboard back. So I searched on here until I found the right one. You have to have the KVM in the middle of both ends. Not just the little small adapter they have. This one works for keyboards and mouse both. But you need the KVM part with this. And it says that in the description so I knew I was getting the right one. A must have for someone that wants to use their old PS/2 keyboards/mice on a USB computer. Glad I got it and hope it continues to do the job. So far so good.!!!! :-)

> 3 dayThe Perixx PERIPRO-401 PS2 to USB Adapter for Keyboard and Mouse with built-in USB Controller saved my older but favorite keyboard. I had upgraded my PC mother board and newer MBs dont use the old PS2 style plug. This adapter was a perfect solution. Very satisfied with this product.

> 3 dayI can only type well on my old Dell keyboard because the keys are set higher. When I got a new laptop, I had to come up with a USB keyboard. Those keyboards are hard to use when you are a fast typist as fingers slide off the keys. I really wanted to keep my old keyboard, so I ordered this adapter. Works great! Im back to typing like the wind.
