> 3 dayThe cable worked fine connecting a PS/2 mouse and keyboard directly to the computers USB port. However when I tried to use it with a PS/2 KVM switch connecting 2 computers it had issues. One of the computers was connected to the switch via a different manufacturers PS/2-USB converter and I connected a second computer to the switch with this cable. Not sure if the problem was this cable being incompatible with the other cable or if the problem was the cable with the KVM switch. Gave it 3 stars since the cable did work fine by itself but I bought it because it claimed to work with KVM switches.

> 3 dayJust upgraded my wifes computer, and the keyboard she likes is an old one and has a PS/2 connector. The computer I built for her did not have any PS/2 jacks. I order this PS/2 to USB adapter and simply plugged everything in, turned on the PC, and everything worked great. Ive had no problems with this product. FYI, the motherboard was an Asus Z87 Pro running Windows 10.

> 3 dayI had 2 computers at work that are on a KVM. One computer got replaced and the new one didnt have standard PS2 ports like the KVM requires. I tried this and it worked for the keyboard but not the mouse. Now, we have to have 2 mice at the workstation.

12-06-2025My husband wanted this for his keyboard that doesn’t have a ps/2 port, on his new motherboard. The device feels like it’s nice quality but it fails when the button is being held down for some time (for gaming) it stops working and he has to repress the button. Can be horrible for gaming but good for someone else who just likes the feel of an older keyboard.

> 3 dayI had an old/new keyboard that had a much better feel and response than my wifes and she wanted it but it had a PS/2 connection and her new computer, of course, is all USB. This item was shipped promptly and I connected it and shes a happy girl!

> 3 dayI tried 3 others from Amazon, some that people said would work, and they all failed. This was my 4th try and this one works. Its the only one I have found so far that will work on my keyboard. I have a blue cube I bought about 5-6 years ago and it still works, but my son wanted the same keyboard for his computer. I didnt know the blue cube was extinct. Others said they would work but they did not - this one did.

> 3 dayI use a Compaq keyboard so you know it is old. Needed adaptor to use it with a modern Dell computer and it works great.
