Works amazingly. At this point I refuse to use anything but SSDs after seeing the performance difference. It is like using a brand new computer at all times, multiplied by 2 or 3 in terms of responsiveness for ALL tasks. Also, the Samsung disk drive cloning software has worked for me on about 3 different computers, a total of 5 transfers, with no issues. Used a USB 3.0 to SATA and SATA power connector device, and everything worked flawlessly.

Boots my Windows up in 7.5 seconds after the BIOS screen. It keeps Final Fantasy load times to 5-10 seconds. It was 30-60 seconds with a regular HDD.

After tons of research I selected th Samsung 850 EVO and super happy I did. I upgraded from a 7200 HDD. My performance has increased 500%. As an example; running Malware Bytes was running at 6 minutes prior to upgrade - post upgrade it now takes only 1 minute. Boot time has gt thione from five minutes to less than a minute now. Wish I had known about this sooner I upgraded a Dell latitude 6520 and did not need a mounting bracket of SATA cable

Going to an SSD from an HDD do more your your PC than any other upgrade. Very fast, very quiet, and Samsung quality to boot. The cloning software that comes with the 850 makes transitioning easy.

This solid state drive made a great improvement of my laptop, in that disk-intensive operations, such as boot up, did improve substantially. Cloning my system and many installed programs onto it went without a hitch. It just works, exceeding my expectations.

Laptop Setup: Model: HP 350 G1 CPU: i7 (4510U) Memory: 8 GB Operating System: Windows 10 Storage: Samsung 850 SSD 250GB So just a quick background for those who have not upgraded to Windows 10, they already made huge upgrade with the boot time with the HDD I was at about 6-7 seconds and with the SSD its half might even be faster. I have noticed a huge difference in speed with the HDD at times I could feel the laptop just trying to keep up with me because I multi task and transfer media files a lot. I ran the Samsung Magician performance test before and after just to see what the results were and you can see for your self the results for yourself. If you want to save a little bit of money by going with another company for a SSD go right ahead but if you use your desktop/laptop and want the best results go with this.
