SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM)

What can I say. The Samsung 850 EVO series is just as fast and stable as the reviews suggest. Very happy with my purchase. I have 850 Pro at work so I have some basis for comparison. It works quite well for a slightly more budget SSD.

Not that impressed with the unit. It took several attempts to get the OS to recognize the 850 to partition the unit and set up. Installation directions useless. My EVO 840 gave me no problems. Price dropped significantly since purchase. I would probably go with something other than Samsung when purchasing another unit. It works, nothing special.

This SSD gave new life to a 2012 MBP. Super easy to install.

Nice upgrade from the HDD. Id recommend it if youre thinking about upgrading. Good drive. Have two. No problems. Major difference between the two types as far as write speed and overall load the computer can handle. Couple this with more RAM if you have the capacity and youll be happy.

Works Amazingly with the computer I built

Works fine, just like the sister drive I bought to speed up my laptop. This is my backup drive, now that I run the risk of the laptop SSD going dead. The Samsung data migration tool works fine and a swap-out shows they work.

This was such a great upgrade from a hard drive. Made a world of difference. The Samsung 850 EVO has amazing random read/write speeds. My only limiting factor was my motherboard. Best solid state drive out there.

One of the best things you can do to upgrade your laptop or desktop. I actually purchased it to upgrade my 13 Macbook Pro mid-2012. Boot time before was around 48 sec. and now its around 18 sec. In addition, I also noticed a tremendous improvement when launching programs and calling up data. This simple upgrade can turn any old computer to new. A definite must!
