> 3 dayExcellent, made my desktop computer so much more responsive! I wish I got the 500 gig drive since it would have made the transfer from the old HD easier. My setup is this drive aND a 3 gig drive for large sorage.

> 3 dayLove this solid state drive. Got it to refresh my 7 year old Win 7 PC. Loaded the operating system and programs on this drive and using the original 1 TB spinning drive for data storage. It has made a huge difference in performance. My PC is robust and speedy again. The installation was very easy and the drive has worked flawlessly since. The Samsung SSDs get a lot of good press, and my experience confirms the reviews. This is a great way to improve the operation of an older PC. I would highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayEXCELLENT DRIVE INSTALLED IN A 17 HP PAVILION, MADE A NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE IN BOOT & THE READ/WRITE SPEED IS SUPER... I DID NOT USE THE INCLUDED SOFTWARE AS THERE WERE DIFFERENCES IN THE DRIVES, SO I USED A SOFTWARE CALLED AOMEI THAT CAN HANDLE SUCH PROBLEMS AND THE INSTILLATION WENT FLAWLESSLY... IF YOUR DRIVES ARE FORMATTED THE SAME WAY I ASSUME THE INCLUDED SOFTWARE WOLD WORK FINE...

Greater than one weekFirst time SSD user. Bought the 250GB and 120GB for desktop and laptop respectively. Each had a 1TB 7200RPM and 5400RPM HDD respectively. Unparalleled performance gain! I was a little skeptical that it would make such a huge difference but clearly all the positive reviews were right. Had a couple issues when migrating both PCs but nothing major. Desktops SATA III ports were wrong on the manufacturers site, the brands site as well as the forums. Its an HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t desktop with a Formosa motherboard. Every search said the black and red ports were SATA III but it was the dark blue and white ports all along. Now for laptop, the Toshiba Satellite S855-S5381. Laptop was strange as well. While the desktop had transfer rates up to 60 MB/s, laptops max was 6 MB/s. I thought it was the HDD being a 5400RPM drive that made it slower but didnt expect that much of a drop in speed. Nonetheless, the issues were my own hardware and not the drives. Migration and optimizations went effortlessly albeit slowly. After cloning and using the optimization tools with the software included, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Going from 30-50 MB/s reads/writes to over 500 and testing real world applications, I knew I made the right investment. Startups/shut downs and typical apps were snappy. All of my startup programs appear to load simultaneously rather than progressively and are usable almost immediately after the main desktop appears. Antivirus/antimalware, browser and games are practically like lightning bolts now. Overall, Im more than happy with my purchase
