> 3 dayI bought two of these and did a raid on my 2012 macbook. I am a music producer and after i had installed these into my mac i stopped experiencing any lag that I had. Very, very easy to install. One thing to note, if you have a macbook, they are currently not allowing any further upgrades to those who have a raid set up.

> 3 dayI expected these SSDs to last a little longer than an HDD since there are no moving parts. I guess I was wrong when it came to this brand. I only use my PC once a week or so, so this was pretty unexpected. It did work well for the 5 years I was using it.

> 3 daySoftware from Samsung did not clone the drive for me. I finally used Easeustodo to clone. Even that software did not make a bootable clone. Finally got it to boot by using a rescue disk to repair the booting problem. I am satisfied with the disk now that it is working but the transition from hdd to this ssd is not straight forward.

> 3 dayThis is, at the time of this review, one of the best consumer SSD drives available. However, it has one big issue: The drive causes Windows 8.1 (and Windows Server 2012 R2) to crash if you turn off write caching. For most people, this wont be a problem. (Its an issue under Windows Server 2012 R2 which forces write caching off for domain controllers.)
