Cons: Failed twice while in transport. Once, just in my bag. Once, dropped from knee height onto carpet. Each failure within 6 months of purchase. Pros: Product was replaced quickly and easily and without charge. Otherwise, works well. I recommend using it as a backup rather than storing irreplaceable data. UPDATE: 2 years later dropped it onto wood flooring and it died.

Really happy with this, purchased t hold all my hi res images & sports videos. Loads quickly and is robust. Well worth the cost.

Transcend are my favorite portable large capacity drives, Ive purchased them for years for my small business clients and have had great experience. I have had one or two fail, but Transcend RMA has been very quick to replace them for no charge.

The item is not operating properly. Just arrived today and on first use copying to it from another hard drive- the connection keeps logging out and telling me that the device is not recognized. I believe that the cable supplied is defective (have seen a report on that on another buyers feedback). No trying to use another cable from my other hard drives. Will have to order a replacement cable. NOT GOOD ENOUGH for a price of over £104.....

I use this as redundant storage for photo shoots, works great, fast transfer rates.

Utilizzato come backup esterno del NAS. Configurato immediatamente (anche se è un USB 1.1), offre un ottimo spazio di archiviazione. Solido, bel design, prezzo corretto. Per lutilizzo che ne faccio non so dire se le prestazioni siano allaltezza.

Purchased in June 2021 as a backup drive, the USB connection appears to have failed within 6 months, and the device does not seem to be drawing enough power to mount on either a PC or a Mac (I have tried several). Essentially worse than useless, as a drive that is unreliable is worse than not having any backups thanks to the false sense of security you may have from *thinking* your files are backed up. I will be returning my broken drive to Amazon, but my data is now lost unless I am prepared to shell out for a specialist recovery service. Dreadful product.

購入して、約２週間、数分前に使えていたのにPCで認識しなくなった。衝撃も何も与えていないのに・・・過去最短のトラブル発生するも解決へ。 メーカーに問い合わせ： 対応策として①接続ケーブルを違うものに変えても認識しませんか。と問われそんなケーブル手元にない。 次に②デバイスマネージャーから、認識していないドライブのアンインストールするも、認識せず。 ③コンピューター管理からディスク管理へ。やはり認識していない。 メーカーは、新品へ交換してくれるとの事。アマゾンは、交換もしくは、返金を了承してくれた。 でも、何よりデーターが無くなった事による損失が大きすぎる。どこのメーカーなら良いのかと諦めながら、自宅に急きょかえり、接続ケーブルを変えると、アクセスできた！原因は接続ケーブルの不具合。 メーカーの対応も、アマゾンの対応も良かった。耐衝撃性に加え、３年も保障期間がついている。流石だ。間違いない。 通電し、認識できている時は、青いランプは読み込み時に点滅している。、通電のみできている時は、青いランプが常時点灯していた。青いランプが付きっぱなしならば、ケーブルを変えれば認識するかもしれない。だから、諦めずにまずは試して欲しい。 そして、何よりバックアップを定期的にとるべきだ。と再々再度思わせてくれた。
