Works well, and pretty durable, I would recommend it

THIS HAPPENED TWICE - ALSO WITH THE REPLACEMENT. The hard disk was woking fine until one day, for no apparent reason it stopped working. I contacted the warranty and they said that I could ask for a replacement, but for the data recovery Id have cover the costs on my own. Seems a bit stupid, as it was because of their faulty product.

Have used several of these in the past. All still functioning, so in terms of failure they are fine and should be reliable and have proven to be. THE GOOD Speed is about average Goes to sleep when not in use Fairly robust and durable THE NOT SO GOOD Occasionally cuts out when transferring large amount of data or files. (about 100Gbs or more) is not military standard or robust for outdoor stuff. OVERALL QUITE IMPRESS AND RELIABLE I WOULD RECOMMEND.

購入して、約２週間、数分前に使えていたのにPCで認識しなくなった。衝撃も何も与えていないのに・・・過去最短のトラブル発生するも解決へ。 メーカーに問い合わせ： 対応策として①接続ケーブルを違うものに変えても認識しませんか。と問われそんなケーブル手元にない。 次に②デバイスマネージャーから、認識していないドライブのアンインストールするも、認識せず。 ③コンピューター管理からディスク管理へ。やはり認識していない。 メーカーは、新品へ交換してくれるとの事。アマゾンは、交換もしくは、返金を了承してくれた。 でも、何よりデーターが無くなった事による損失が大きすぎる。どこのメーカーなら良いのかと諦めながら、自宅に急きょかえり、接続ケーブルを変えると、アクセスできた！原因は接続ケーブルの不具合。 メーカーの対応も、アマゾンの対応も良かった。耐衝撃性に加え、３年も保障期間がついている。流石だ。間違いない。 通電し、認識できている時は、青いランプは読み込み時に点滅している。、通電のみできている時は、青いランプが常時点灯していた。青いランプが付きっぱなしならば、ケーブルを変えれば認識するかもしれない。だから、諦めずにまずは試して欲しい。 そして、何よりバックアップを定期的にとるべきだ。と再々再度思わせてくれた。

This is a very practical and convenient storage device. I formatted mine to provide two logical drives: 1Gb drive for automatic backups of my laptop and 2Gb for storing video projects. The photo shows the drive and the included cable with a (separately purchased) USB-C cable adaptor for a modern MacBook. Ive used other Transcend drives before. This one feels even more robust. The indicator light clearly shows when the drive is busy and when it is safe to disconnect (previous Transcend drives had an LED which stayed light as long as the unit was powered so it wasnt always easy to see then the drive was inactive). A great product - highly recommended.

Utilizzato come backup esterno del NAS. Configurato immediatamente (anche se è un USB 1.1), offre un ottimo spazio di archiviazione. Solido, bel design, prezzo corretto. Per lutilizzo che ne faccio non so dire se le prestazioni siano allaltezza.

My 3rd Transcend external drive. I bought a 1 TB several years ago and have been pleased with it. As my storage needs have grown, Ive bought a 2TB and recently this one. To date all have worked well and been problem-free.

Transcend delivers again, after the 1 TB Storejet that I already had the 4TB Storejet is a great product. Rugged with the military drop feature. The only suggestion is wish it could make the recovery process simpler. Still thumbs up to Transcend for delivering again up to expectation.
