Solid product, my 2nd year buying it. Buy one of these instead of renewing. Cheaper and simple restarts or extends existing service

There is only great things to say about Webroot. I have used Webroot for many years and I have been more than pleased with their product. I have never had any problems with their software and/or having anything get through their defense system. I will never use anything else but Webroot, there is no need to use anything else. It catches everything and is so simple to use. Install it, schedule the time to scan and you are done. Great product.

Thought I could just enter new keycode and that would be it. I had to totally uninstall the previous webroot before I could use this disk. Was a pain in the ass! But now that its installed all works just as before. Dont know if saving $12 was worth the frustration.

4/10/2020 After several years usage, I have changed to a different anti-virus anti-malware protection solution. Webroot detection performance quality has degraded. Some viruses went undetected, this is not acceptable! Product is now of poor wuality. Old review: Ive been using Webrrot Complete for several years and I like it but re-registration can be a pain in the butt. When I want to renew for another year I buy another copy from Amazon, but I dont uninstall and re-install it. I just use the keycode to upgrade the licence for another year. I do the update on all my computers, tablets and smartphones. As long as you keep your subscription current, Webroot keeps its software up to date too. You dont need to uninstall and reinstall, unless the software wont allow you to enter the new keycode. That happened to me 2 years ago on my mobil devices only. Also, doing renewals this way will add any leftover days of your old subscription to the new 365 day renewal. I hope this helps all of you.

when i bought my ASUS computer at BB they gave me WEBROOT to try out. Since i was having problems with Norton 360 on my ASUS that was running windows 8.1( I transferred my Norton account from my old comp. that was running win.7 were it worked fine) For my surprise WEBROOT worked really fast, better than my NORTON 360 ever did on my old comp. running win.7 the only problem is that it promises a password manager on your browser, but it never worked. it did worked on the try out, but not when i purchased the software. that is the only reason for a 4 star review. the password manager comes in handy, i had it on my Norton account. WEBROOT is.... to put it this way; so quiet, that i thought it was not working. So i tested it with a malicious software. that i use to test, this antivirus softwares. it took like 10 min to discover it and eliminate it. not bad, that is about the average that it has taken other antivirus softwares. all in all Im happy with the purchase. September 16th 2020 added some pics to the review. Happy and satisfied with webroot that I purchased it again pics show old case and new case. The cardboard one is the new one.

My internet security was ready to expire, so I started looking on Amazon for a new one. I looked and looked and finally settled on Webroot. Webroot loaded quickly and immediately went to work. One of the things it corrected was a doz window that kept popping up on the screen, very annoying. I think it restored a dll file, also. It corrected one other problem and my computer was like new. On my laptop, which my granddaughter uses, it corrected 7 problems and now it runs like a new one. As for right now I am very happy with Webroot

Runs a very fast and thorough scan on my laptop and was easy to install. Alerts me when I could have a potential problem. And I havent gotten calls from a woman named Doris with a heavy foreign accent that tells me I have a problem with my laptop and she will have it fixed online for only $79.99.....

Upon initial install Id have to say Im very impressed and quite pleased with this product. Most of my reviews include the detail that Im legally blind. Being visually limited is often a major factor when I select technology based products. It must be easy to use and easy for me to see as well. Webroots Internet Security Complete gets high marks on both ease of use and ease of viewing. I had been using Microsoft Security Essentials since 2013 and felt it left a lot to be desired. Over time my computer began to drag, freeze and crash. Admittedly by the five year mark my tower is antiquated but I know how it operates, Im comfortable with it and I was loathe to set it aside for a newer model. Suspecting that Microsofts SE was not covering all the security bases I went in search of a better antivirus software package. I researched different packages, considered the pros and cons of each product and read reviews. Finally I settled on Webroots Internet Security Complete. I chose this level of the product because I wanted all the bells and whistles. I didnt want to regret not having additional options at a later date. As the product name indicates Ive got the complete package. Being old school and not completely trustful of online, software downloads I purchased the CD version of Internet Security Complete. The software installed quickly and easily. During installation it ran its first scan and detected four virus threats. My suspicions were confirmed - SE was not protecting me as Id hoped. Once the threats were removed Internet Security Complete rebooted my system and then ran a Malware scan. Yet another threat was detected. Consider me gobsmacked *and* thrilled by this products quality and effectiveness. Pairing this software up with CCleaner and a more aggressive anti-malware product I am very optimistic that my antiquated tower might still have some processing life in it yet... hopefully many *years* of smooth operation to come. I cant say enough good things about Webroots Internet Security Complete. This is definitely 5 star caliber software in my opinion. Note: Following the instructions at Microsofts website I disabled SE before installing Internet Security Complete. SCAM! Do not buy this is a complete scam! I’ve always used webroot and love it, and decided to buy this and it was the worst decision I ever made! Nothing downloaded nor the the keycard work on any device!
