> 3 dayI get to re-live my childhood once again! When I was little, Pokemon Sapphire was my first game (my little sister had Pokemon Ruby) and now I get to play the remake in a whole new way! I just like everything about this remake and I also like the feature that you can join with others online at anytime instead of being interrupted during your gameplay (that happens when you play Pokemon X & Y). The gameplay redesign is fantastic and I love that you can interact with your pocket monsters & I also like that the Exp. Share works with all the Pokemon in your party (makes training a whole lot easier). This game is definitely worth getting and I would also suggest getting the guide book too. Tons of fun! Way to go Nintendo! Now lets see a 3DS release of Pokemon Yellow.

> 3 dayI am very happy with this remake. I loved Pokemon as a kid and still do in my adulthood. Alpha Sapphire does a great job retelling the store of the third generation with a nicely updated graphical style from the seventh generation games. There are some new things and enough changes to keep the game fresh, while still staying true to the originals so that a returning player can reminisce and remember the fun times had on their Gameboy Advance years ago. Definitely a great game for new and returning players alike.

> 3 dayHoenn was never my favorite of the Pokemon regions. The remakes, while containing wonderful graphics, some really entertaining new mechanics, and an ever-present nostalgia factor, left me a little bored. I didnt have that urge that I just couldnt put the game down. Its been out for 3 months now, and Im just now getting around to finishing up the Elite Four and embarking on post-game. There are weeks that will go by without me even picking this game up. Its not something specific about the game that turns me off - there are just other things, other games, that Id just rather play more. That being said, technically, this game is the best one to date. Encountering Pokemon in the actual world, and being able to sneak up on them, is a real blast. I also like the addition of the DexNav, which for a completionist like me, allows me to keep track of what Pokemon Ive encountered on a route and how many of those Ive managed to catch. The addition of overworld flying on Latios/Latias is actually pretty cool, and bring the idea of flying from place to place to a whole new level. There were also more story line additions this game, with cut scenes that broke away from the character sprite to give the game a bit more world feel - not everything occurs right in front of you. I dont know how thrilled I am about being able to catch every legend - on the one hand, I think its a great idea to make everyone feel like there is plenty to keep them engrossed in the game. Legends arent just for hardcore Pokemon gamers (which I am not). But, they kind of feel like they lose their special qualities when I know everyone is going to have them. Overall, I give the game 4 stars, because I still want to finish it. I just dont enjoy it enough to sit there for 4-6 hours a day, grinding through the game as fast as I can to see what happens next. I do think, however, that they added enough to keep it interesting, and Im excited to see what is next for the franchise that I have (literally) grown up with.

15-06-2025In the aftermath of X and Y, which were staggeringly wonderful, with a dynamic PokeDex, dynamic new animation, the gloriously empowered Exp. Share and dozens of other impressive features, AS and OR were somewhat of a letdown. The game itself is a little different than it was back in Generation III, but only in ways that were redundant with X and Y. The new Mega Evolutions were wonderful, but are not available until much later in the game than in X and Y. With the Exp. Share upgraded, a game where you previously had to struggle to get a full party above level 45 you can now end up with six Pokemon in their 80s. Unfortunately, the levels of the opponents Pokemon remained the same, turning a game that was an enjoyable challenge into an unfortunate breeze. With the Battle Maison returning from X and Y, we lose the one thing that made Third Gen (or Emerald Version, at least) so enjoyable, namely an immensely diverse and challenging Battle Frontier. There are some awesome new features like the ability to find rare Pokemon and keep track of what youve caught off of each route using the Trainers Eye, but more or less, this game was a disappointment. If given a choice between playing this again or playing Emerald, Id pick Emerald again in a heartbeat. And that says nothing in comparison to X and Y.

> 3 dayThis game is basically pokemon sapphire for the gba but in 3d and with the newer pokemon , the only thing is that they either dumbed down or completely removed some puzzles in the game.It is also too easy to get a legendary , i got a latias and a Zekrom before i even saw kyogre in game.

> 3 dayI bought Pokemon Omega Ruby for myself, and Alpha Sapphire for my 7-year-old cousin who LOVES Pokemon. My only complaint is that it doesnt have voiceovers. He cant read very well, so he isnt able to follow the storyline, but he loves battling and catching Pokemon. The icons when looking through your inventory and shops helps him out a lot though for resupplying. I noticed several more multiplayer features than the original Pokemon Sapphire, as well as ridiculously enhanced graphics. Great game, and an amazing remake of my own favorite childhood Pokemon game.

Greater than one weekI played the original sapphire and the story on this one is pretty much the same just in 3d, and the inclusion of mere evolutions. Still holds up today
