> 3 dayThis game is the best Pokemon so far. The very first pokemon game I played was Pokemon Silver and Gold (my friends) for the GameBoy Color. Then Ruby and Sapphire came out and I bought Pokemon Ruby (the first pokemon game I owned). THey were so much fun. The cartoon was fun to watch as well (advanced challenge). Pokemon ORAS has so much to do in this game, the story line is great. I havent finished the game yet (up to the 6th gym in Fortree) but so far its been great. New features from XY added onto ORAS makes the games fun. THeres a lot more things you can do now, as a sideline, even as youre playing through the storyline. You can get many more diverse pokemon from other regions before beating the Pokemon League thanks to the PSS system. You can use the GTS or Wondertrade. Thanks to those I now have a Dragonair and a Charizard on my team; which you can NOT find in the ORAS games. You can grow berries to enhance your pokemon looks for the pokemon contests. You can do Daily Battles in the restaurant in Maullville City. Im raising a second team, made up of some of my other favorite pokemon such as Sharpedo and Camerupt. You can use the DexNav to find common pokemon with rare abilities and EGG Moves with perfect IVs!!!. And theres the trainer rematch feature I have yet to touch on. So above all POkemon ORAS is a game with similarities from the POkemon Ruby I played when I was 12 yet the new features in these games makes ORAS completely new and refreshing. My ratings so far: 10/10.

> 3 dayFor those of you who have never played ruby and sapphire this game Is a must. They have stripped down the old hoenn and made it better than before. There Is a plethora of things to do and you may find ORAS taking up most of your free time. However, those familiar with the RSE games and didnt like them may find ORAS more of the same thing. Game freak really did good on this game and it is certainly a must for RSE fans. It would take forever too list all the good things about this game and I will strongly recommend you try it for yourself. (Beware, there is no battle frontier in this game And there is still tons of water, so if those are deal breakers for you dont buy it.)

> 3 dayAs I stated for my Platinum review. This is not the U.S. version. I have inserted pics to prove the difference between the product shown, and the one received.Amazon needs to get on the ball and show accurate descriptions. I dont know what else to say... It works (starts up fine). If it has issues saving or anything else I will update this review. Im just unhappy cause I bought it NEW in hopes of collecting it. Whats the point of collecting a cheaper foreign variant? Thats just my gripe though and it may not matter to you. If you just want a game to play, I suggest you go to your local store, test and buy it there. If you order online, buy it used since your copy will likely not be the U.S. version anyway.

Greater than one weekI played the original sapphire and the story on this one is pretty much the same just in 3d, and the inclusion of mere evolutions. Still holds up today

> 3 dayThis game is basically pokemon sapphire for the gba but in 3d and with the newer pokemon , the only thing is that they either dumbed down or completely removed some puzzles in the game.It is also too easy to get a legendary , i got a latias and a Zekrom before i even saw kyogre in game.

09-06-2025This game is stunning and a great remake of my personal favorite generation. Emerald was my first pokemon game ever that I alone owned and didnt have to share with my older brothers and I played it probably 1000 times through. This remake makes playing the game fun all over again. A little bit dissapointed they removed the charachter customization that was in XY but its not needed. My dad also got Ruby version of this game and after exclusively playing pokemon yellow on an old game boy he really loves the new style of gameplay and the animations.

Greater than one weekPokemon Sapphire was the first video game I ever played, so it has a special place in my heart. When I heard a 3D remake was coming out, I was skeptical, but finally decided to get it. Im only an hour and a half in but I love it already! The music is fantasic and actually gave me chills. Same story and setting as the original, with the addition of Pokemon Amie and online play, not to mention better visuals and character design. So far theres no obnoxious roller skates or ugly speech bubbles from X and Y, and you can actually run in a circle instead of just straight lines. One of the few downsides that Ive noticed so far is that you cant customize your character from the original Sapphire design, which isnt a big setback. If youre looking to relive some nostalgia, Id really recommend this game.
