> 3 dayI bought Pokemon Omega Ruby for myself, and Alpha Sapphire for my 7-year-old cousin who LOVES Pokemon. My only complaint is that it doesnt have voiceovers. He cant read very well, so he isnt able to follow the storyline, but he loves battling and catching Pokemon. The icons when looking through your inventory and shops helps him out a lot though for resupplying. I noticed several more multiplayer features than the original Pokemon Sapphire, as well as ridiculously enhanced graphics. Great game, and an amazing remake of my own favorite childhood Pokemon game.

> 3 dayI gave it four starts since this is a product review. Item is in good condition, shipping was on time and item came on time. Now for the Game Review..... I did not find this game as immersive as Pokemon x and y. No character customization (not even skin and hair tones), which is a really big disappointment for me and makes the game less enjoyable. The adventures/quests were too easy and not really that immersive. The random encounters happen less often which is nice and not that annoying however I hate always encountering the same Pokemon, so far its not as diverse or random as X and Y, so there really wasnt that much Pokemon to catch or that I wanted to catch. The reason why I compare this game to X and Y is because I expected a lot more from Alpha Sapphire since it is newer but when I played the game it seemed less advanced. Pros: -Less random encounters -New/ Different NPCs -Pokemon Cosplay (Have not tried it yet) -Completely different map -More convenience looking at map, Pokemon, etc Cons: -Short adventures -Same Pokemon encounters -No Customization on Trainer -Easy Pokemon battles and Quests If this were a game review I would give it 3 stars. Overall its ok, not too boring but not addictive. In my opinion the game developers did not give it their all in making this game, I feel like they were just being lazy in making this game by taking away all those nice features that X and Y have, I understand that each Pokemon game should be different however they can still do so much more with Alpha Sapphire it really is a shame and a waste of money :( Hope moon and sun is a lot better.

> 3 daySeller didn’t bother to delete the saved data which caused a lot of consternation and upset on Christmas morning while I google searched how to fix it. Otherwise is fine.

> 3 dayI love this remake of the epic game that was the highlight of my childhood. It has tons of extra content in it that changes it from the original. Unlike the Heartgold and Soulsilver remake, it wont give you a week of extra content, rather maybe 2 days worth. If you would want to kill some time, flip that 3ds and play this game. At best, I bet you could play this for 2-3 weeks if you are new to the Pokemon franchise, 1 week if you are familar with the franchise, and 21-3 days if you are hardcore and willing to speed run this. Just like every other Pokemon game, you may gret bored of this after completing the game.

> 3 dayI know this review is a few years late, however, as the saying goes better late than never eh? Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is a great game. I was amongst those who rushed through the game on his first playthrough so that I could get to the end game content and start breeding for competitive play. After all, I had played through the original Generation 3 games a myriad of times and there could only be so many things different with this remaster right? Well after rushing through the game, I started over and took my time and enjoyed the game. It was much better that way. Trying to catch all the Pokemon in any given area, raising up all the Pokemon I like etc. I really enjoy the DexNav and DexNav Shiny Chain hunting. Its not perfect though, and sometimes it will constantly tell you that the Pokemon you are searching for cannot be found and to search in another spot. Even if youve been chaining that Pokemon 50 times before this in succession. Its kinda annoying and even more so when you search the entire area and the DexNav doesnt find it. I really like O-Powers and the Battle Resort. It makes Masuda Method breeding really easy. And EV training in this game is great as well and its really cool how you can reset Pokemons EVs easily and Hyper Training is awesome. The GTS... overall is terrible. Most players are jack wagons who ask for legendary Pokemon like Celebi and Mew for their level 4 Hoppip and Sunkern so its not really of much use when trying to complete your Pokedex, however, this is of no fault of the developers. Overall I love this game. Even when Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon come out, I will still be playing it. I prefer EV training in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby versus Sun and Moon.

Greater than one weekgame is a 5 star the 3 star review is because the version I purchased was the US/Canada one but they sent me the U.A.E./Saudi Arabia/Malaysia/Singapore version this will work in the US/Canada but is not the same or worth the same amount.

> 3 dayA wonderful blast from the past. The music, the familiar pokemon, the gameplay is just amazing. A good gift for anyone wanting to play Hoenn but do not have RSE or a gameboy.

> 3 dayAs a person whos played since Gen 1 and has played every gen since then, I will right out say that I wasnt a fan of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald when it first came out. Whether its the regions Pokemon, the bombastic music that starts to grate on the nerves after a while, or the fact that each and every route between towns is ridiculously empty and kinda lacking in fun content, I dont know. I just know that I didnt like the original games and if you didnt like them either, then no. This is not the game for you. It will feel like a chore to complete and I will say this now as a person who has stalled on the seventh gym not because its difficult, but because the game stopped being fun. That said, its a very faithful remake and people who were fans of the original will be thrilled with it. Its got everything you loved about Hoenn with X and Ys updated graphics/mechanics, which can give those people a huge nostalgia trip while they get to see their favorite Pokemon and gyms in living color. HOWEVER, a lot of the gameplay issues from R/S/E are still there. You dont have a Berry Farm and have to go around collecting berries from routes every day. You still have to go to Mauville to switch between the Acro and Mach bikes. And theres still a lot of water and around 7 HMs to lug around, making the need for one to maybe TWO HM slaves a necessity. Fortunately, you CAN fly to different routes and locations that arent cities or towns now, which is something that hasnt been possible in any game prior to this. As for the Safari Zone, pickings are slim if youve already filled up your PokeBank with everything you could ever need or want. The selection of Pokemon in the wild is narrow in general compared to the selection in X and Y, but if newcomers and veterans find this tedious, then the WonderTrade feature is accessible as soon as you help Wally catch his Ralts. SuperTraining and Pokemon Amie are also back, which can only be advantageous, but nothing has changed there either. Those who were hoping for new Amie mini-games may find themselves disappointed. The breeding center is still there, so shiny hunters and competitive battlers, you can still import all your X and Y Pokemon over and get back to work, but Id suggest breeding in X and Y before transferring them over just because the breeding center route isnt very comfortable for riding back and forth on your bike. You also dont have the circle in Lumiose City to do half the work for you, so keep this in mind. Mega Stone enthusiasts however, REJOICE. While a lot of stones are (presumably) in the post-game, you can still acquire many of the news ones during the main story and all the old stones from X and Y are in the game for you to find. Trading between ORAS and X/Y is possible as well, so your main concern should be beating the game in a way thats comfortable for YOU. However, you may find yourself missing some of the liberties that have come along post-Generation 3.

Greater than one weekI have played Pokémon since red and blue were released in the US and this is now the 6th generation in the main series, a reiteration of the 3rd generation of games, the 23rd or 24th individual title, and somehow I still find myself enjoying this game. Its just like with Heart Gold and Soul Silver; the same basic game with upgraded graphics and all the new Pokémon plus some extra tweaks. The balloon bots are back along with poke-puffs and the P.S.S from X and Y. The map can tell you if youve caught everything on the route youre on and what youve already gotten. Im not a huge fan of the contests so really no opinions on that, from what I have read elsewhere theyre awesome... but I still remember trying to get Milotic... anyone who played the original and got one legitimately should know what I mean. For the TL:DR- Either new to the series or have played Sapphire before, if you like Pokémon its a great game. And its just in time for Chrismahanukwanzicah, or Festivus, or whatever holiday! (And despite what Amazon says, Pichu isnt one of the choices for a starter as far as I could tell)
