Transcend 4TB StoreJet 25H3 2.5-inch USB3.0 Portable Hard Drive

Ich hatte vor einigen Jahren die sehr guten Tests zur Storejet Transcend gelesen und mir derzeit das 1TB-Modell zugelegt. Ich war hochzufrieden und hab mir in der Folge später auch das 2TB zugelegt, und als ich das alte verloren hatte, auch das neue 4TB-Modell. Letztere verabschiedete sich innerhalb eines Jahres, und ich musste das Gerät umtauschen. Ich nutzte die Festplatte als Spielefestplatte und fing an, die Spiele aus der Steam-Cloud wieder herzustellen. Das Umtauschgerät hat nicht einmal lange genug gehalten, um alle Daten wieder zu laden. Mein altes 2TB-Modell schnurrt immer noch, und dürfte dabei schon >3 Jahre alt sein. Meine Empfehlung: kauft die Varianten mit weniger Kapazität, die große kann man vergessen. Das Modell hat die Miniaturisierung nicht gut vertragen.

Transcend delivers again, after the 1 TB Storejet that I already had the 4TB Storejet is a great product. Rugged with the military drop feature. The only suggestion is wish it could make the recovery process simpler. Still thumbs up to Transcend for delivering again up to expectation.

When it comes to replacement warranty, my recommendation is - switch to another companys hard disk - I would recommend Seagate for their Customer Service. When my Seagate hard drive crashed, I could easily get it replaced by sending it to a service center. But with Transcend, there are no service centers in India. Their website listed Kaizen as a service provider, but they refused service when I called. When my Transcend hard drive crashed within 6 months of purchase, I applied for a replacement in their website, as well as sent them numerous mails, but all I got in reply was an automated mail that was useless. The hard drives themselves are fine, but for Zero customer service and falsely advertised warranty in India, I would highly recommend against purchasing Transcend hard drives (unless you dont care about replacement warranty).

THIS HAPPENED TWICE - ALSO WITH THE REPLACEMENT. The hard disk was woking fine until one day, for no apparent reason it stopped working. I contacted the warranty and they said that I could ask for a replacement, but for the data recovery Id have cover the costs on my own. Seems a bit stupid, as it was because of their faulty product.

Jai utilisé presque toute la gamme précédente des Transcend 1To et 2To, sans jamais avoir eu le moindre problème. Dernier né de la famille Transcend le 4to est conforme aux qualités de la marque. Résistance aux chocs grâce à sa coque absorbante, très compact - tient dans une poche, USB 3.0 auto alimenté, ultra silencieux, grande résistance à la chaleur .... et cela pour 40€ le stockage dun To. Je conseille vivement.

Ernsthaft, die Geschwindigkeit meiner Platte liegt eher auf USB 2.0 Niveau - was das Befüllen von 4TB ziemlich mühsam macht, dafür lebt die Platte nun schon länger als die davor eingesetzten Maxtor 4TB (welche in der Reihenfolge des Kaufs nach wenigen Wochen massenhaft kaputte Sektoren hatten - hab ich so noch nie zuvor erlebt) - diese hier hat bis jetzt keine Ausfälle, keine Auffälligkeiten und ist (wegen der niedrigen Geschwindigkeit) sogar deutlich länger mit dem MacBook verbunden gewesen als die früheren Platten. ARBEITEN möchte ich auf dem Ding nicht - aber als Datengrab / Backup gut.

This is the second Transcend drive Ive bought.The first one is 1 tb and is still working after 4 years. So far, this one is working fine. I would reccomend these products.

This is my second Transcend external HDD. I was highly satisfied with the first one, especially the quality of stronger body and data cable. But this time I received a third party, low quality data cable. Totally disappointed. 3 stars for HDD, no stars for data cable. Total 3/5.
