> 24 hourThis has changed the way I work with my computer. It makes it super simple to make a quick post to Twitter for reminders that I need to get out. It makes getting my system set up for streaming ready in under a minute. It makes me more productive and wish I had it sooner than I did.

> 24 hourAdded this into my workflow, and it has made a huge quality of life improvement I have set up profiles for Lightroom, Premier, and Photoshop, and mapped my most used shortcuts to it. I wont be removing this from my setup anytime soon! I also made a profile for Elite Dangerous, and it is wonderful! Theres a very very slight delay so i cant see it being used for competitive games, but in games like E:D where you just need to hit a key to open the scoop or lower landing gear, and it isnt going to kill you to have half a second delay, then this is for you too! Friend of mine uses this for streaming on twitch to change between scenes and a few other OBS shortcuts, they use the smaller streamdeck for this and works great

> 24 hourOver all I like it a lot. I havent programed all the buttons yet. There is one minor problem which I would take a 1/2 star from this product giving it a total of 4.5. What it is, I programed 1 of the buttons to run a program & it starts up the program no problem, but I run multiple concurrent uses of the program (2 at once) The button will launch the 1st one but when I hit it to run the 2nd one the mouse cursor gets an hourglass for a couple of seconds but the second occurrence wont launch. (then have to start the 2nd one manually) Tech support had no answers to this problem.

> 24 hourIm using Stream Deck in probably the most simplest way possible - namely to open applications and web pages quickly. I say simplest because it can do much more. But for my purposes its GREAT! You can customize the icons on each button. And best of all the software works reliably. Its not failed once.

> 24 hourGreat for podcasters and contente creators. Easy to customize even when you use more than one streaming or recording software. Worth every buck!

> 24 hourThis thing is great, hard to believe its the price it is, in many ways it makes itself far more useful than more expensive equipment. It is good for streaming, no doubt, and allows streamers (or just people recording videos) to do things like camera cuts, transitions, whatever, very easily and naturally, without having someone else running the board for you, which lets face it, 99% of streamers cant afford that sort of overhead to hire board ops, and friends only show when theyre able. The automatic links with OBS and other programs are definitely useful. However, even though its made with streaming in mind and those are the programs its most tied to, it can do anything that can be hotkeyed, which is an awful lot, and unless you have a great memory, itll save you a ton of time switching between programs. I believe you can even set specific profiles to come up with specific programs, so that you have the right buttons. I have my home screen split up into sub-folders for different programs - one for OBS, another for a DAW, a third for Photoshop, and Im working on filling out a fourth for general purposes, figuring out whats most useful and not worth doing with something else - but I have an unusually large amount of button options, with extras on my keyboard, mouse, and a ShuttlePro v2 for Adobe Premier that has a ton of buttons of its own. If I had less, Id have already filled up more of the stream deck. And it just speaks to how huge it is that Im only less than 1/3 of the way through what I can do - and even then I think I can load entirely different setups, if I ever need to. I cant even begin to guess at how much time this thing saves, its totally worth any time it can take setting it up, which is really more about figuring out a good layout and plan, because the software makes it easy. If you arent photoshop-savvy, you can make icons through their site, although you can also make your own and upload them to be made into icons as well, which I find especially useful for OBS, so rather than having generic scene icons I can have mock-ups of the layout it would bring up, and have a green background if its the current live camera. Meanwhile, I also have the stream button set to be a gif, just so its not easy to accidentally stream without knowing it - thered be a flashing button in my face. All that with minimum effort.. Seriously, dont tell them, but people would probably pay $500 for this thing.. and dont listen to anything about poor quality. It has a plastic stand, but it feels extremely solid, runs very quickly, absolutely zero issues. If people have issues it is more than likely their computer. I wish I was as happy with every purchase and found it as useful as I did this.

> 24 hourI fell in love with the Stream Decks when I was working with OBS studio. I could lay everything out in a folder and control the out put scenes as I recorded a presentation to give later. However, the regular Stream Deck showed its limitations when I started to use DaVinci Resolve. I needed a lot more keys and functionality. Stepping up to the XL was a logical and wise choice. Now I do not feel limited or cramped for functionality. I also bought a package for the stream deck XL that had all the DaVinci Resolve control icons pre programed. Now I can wiz through my editing work. Good reliable piece of hardware suited to my needs. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourI got this at a very good price here on Amazon. The reviews I saw on this were early versions of the software you use with it, and apparently, there WAS a point where you could only use folders on the first screen. That is done for and you can theoretically have an endless amount of folders and subfolders. This thing is great and has made streaming much easier for me. Im a new streamer, so I dont get a lot of viewers but being able to start and stop my stream. Switch scenes and play and pause Spotify has been a godsend. The multi action things you can do make getting setup for your stream or ending your stream a breeze. I stream with 2 computers, and with this on the streaming computer, Im able to play and pause Spotify on my gaming PC that Im listening to it through!! Its a great device and if you dont want to drop the full amount on the full stream deck, its definitely worth it. I probably will eventually upgrade to a full size stream deck, but for the size and sophistication of my stream, this fits me just fine.

> 24 hourUpdate 2/9/18 4/5 stars - Elgato replaced the malfunctioning Stream Deck and it works like a charm so far. Thanks. Old Review for Stream deck with bad issues- 1/5 star original review rate Within literally 4 hours of use, the colors of the lights went negative and formed a line of seemingly dead white pixels across the top 5 buttons. The buttons themselves still seem to work as intended but the thing sure is ugly. This is ridiculous for the price of the item. $150. Which is shilled by youtubers like crazy and sounds like such a great product. Boy was I bamboozled. I cant find anyway to fix the issues this Stream Deck has or anyone with similar problems. It seems something physical has burned out. Within 4 hours of use. Ridiculous. Maybe I got unlucky. But this goes to show the longevity possibilities of a expensive product like this. Id say stay away unless you hate money. Its a shame I ordered 2 of these for different stations and the other has yet to come. Not looking forward to having another product from Elgato if this is what to expect. I have ordered hundreds of fairly expensive electronics products in the past 3-4 years and this is the first that ever died in some way this fast. Definite red flag. Its also a shame I am not a big youtuber who can give a negative review that reaches tens of thousands of people after my unboxing video. Since this seems well deserved of some negative publicity at this rate. Take this review as you will. I have provided a picture of the dead/dying screen ( AFTER 4 HOURS OF USE ). It actually looks worse in real life than it does in the picture. I bought this from Amazon.
