> 3 dayNo icy trail run is safe without these! I highly recommend these over the Nano Spikes if you are considering any amount of mileage over lots of snow and ice. I never had a worry or a slip when these were on. Even if youre unsure or have mixed terrain, they are easy enough to take off and put back on. The carry case makes it very handy and safe to store in your hydration pack when not in use. I wear a size 6.5 women and I feel like the small is still a hair big. They tend to clank a little more when they are not as snug. Worth their weight in gold on the trail!

> 3 dayThis order was for two extra pair of these cleats. These are absolutely the best cleats I have found. We live in Anchorage, Alaska and I use them to walk up a trail that starts at out back door and runs up a mountain for about 1-1/2 miles and has a vertical climb of about 750 feet. It is icy all winter and pretty dangerous without good traction. These cleats are the best.

> 3 dayI bought Micro Spikes for my first winter in Bethel, AK. Everyone I asked around here told me to get a product with spikes; the ones with coils on the bottom just dont seem to work here. Ive been walking around sure-footed on the ice ever since I put the Micro Spikes on my boots. Seriously, I feel like I could do the elementary school shuttle run with these things on. They are easy to take off when going in the grocery store. One downfall is that they sometimes catch when walking on metal grating, so step carefully. My girlfriend has been here 3 years, has no ice cleats and refused to let me buy her a pair even after seeing how much I love mine. As luck would have it, she slipped on ice in the driveway and broke her wrist. The break was so bad that it took a flight to Anchorage, a plate and 8 screws to fix. If shed had these Micro Spikes on her boots none of that would have happened. If you walk where its icy, you need these.

> 3 dayBought the XL for my size 11 pack boots. Fit great and are much better than the cheaper versions I have bought before. Never made it more than a few outings before they would tear, break, or get lost. Bought the red ones, they are easier to see in the dark to put on. Suck it up and spend the extra money, youll be happy.

Greater than one weekIf you hike in the winter around Colorado then these are a must have. Great on ice even when theres a lot of mud around. Easy to put on and easy to remove when they get packed with mud.

> 3 dayNever have owned a pair of these before, so I have no basis for comparison. That said, they do seem to work pretty well. They store easily in a nice storage bag provided with them. So far, I have worn these on dense snow with some ice underneath. They appear to provide good traction. The true test, of course, would be on a solid icy surface, which I have yet to encounter.

> 3 dayLarger than the wire traction that runners use and not as large as crampons. They provide excellent traction on packed snow and ice. I use them in SAR and they provide the stability needed for icy conditions.
