I have used the micro spikes for a few months now on trails that get a lot of ice build up on them and not once have I had any problem with slipping. Weather on flat ground or up and down slopes I can hike with out worry. The micro spikes are a little more then yak tracks but these will by far work better and last longer. The only other thing I would like to say is that there made in America. This is a quality product I would buy again.

When trails are icy hard, particularly during spring conditions, these micro spikes really have no match. They dont replace full crampons for extended steep climbs, but serve well for 90% of winter trail conditions, where snowshoes are not needed.

My wife and I use these for our snow/ice covered hikes. They’re the best spikes! I wouldn’t use any others.

These are worth the price! If you enjoy hiking, even when there is snow and ice, these are a must. I hiked a few days after a snow and ice storm and I didnt slip once. I also work outside and these came in very handy working after that same ice and snow storm. Easy to put on and they stay in place. Sizes seem to me to be accurate as listed.

Ive had a cheap set of walking spikes for years and they generally worked well for preventing falls on icy patches. Unfortunately, in January I took a horrible fall that left me concussed and in pain for weeks. I purchased a set of Microspikes after reading the reviews on Amazon and must say I completely agree with the positive reviews that this product has received. It is such a relief to walk on icy surfaces without the fear of another fall. I love my walks with my dog and because of this product, I can once again enjoy them fully. As to the product itself, the spikes are easily put on and taken off, so I can keep them in my car or carry them into work. Despite this, they fit securely on both my boots and shoes and are very stable. I could not suggest a better product for everyday use on icy terrain.
