> 3 dayThe upside of these is that they dont require tools or anything to get on and off. The downside is that they are kind of a pain to get on and off on trail due to how much you have to stretch the rubber. In fact I cant do it with my foot in the boot (granted, I need a lot more flexibility in my old body). Going up a size and seeing if it is a little better for on the fly changes, but this my own use case, living in a place where I might have both icy patches and bare round rock scrambling patches on the same hike.

> 3 dayIf its really snowy and icy outside, these are ideal. They wouldnt be great for running, but they definitely prevented me from slipping even in the worst conditions. I love them!

> 3 dayI have used the micro spikes for a few months now on trails that get a lot of ice build up on them and not once have I had any problem with slipping. Weather on flat ground or up and down slopes I can hike with out worry. The micro spikes are a little more then yak tracks but these will by far work better and last longer. The only other thing I would like to say is that there made in America. This is a quality product I would buy again.

> 3 dayI bought these spikes to allow me to walk on ice covered concrete. They are easy to put on my boots and comfortable to walk on for long periods of time. They are also quite nice for maintaining position on concrete while shoveling snow. I recommend these spikes for your ice-walking needs. I do not know how durable the rubber portion is because I havent had them very long.

> 3 dayI bought a pair of these for myself from a sporting goods store and they have allowed me to summit many an ice-covered mountain. I ordered this pair for my boyfriend so that he can join me on such hikes this winter. He hasnt hiked with them yet, but the spikes did save him from taking a spill while walking downhill to work on an especially icy morning.

> 3 daySolid and easy to use. A must have for winter hiking. My friend struggled on our hike - using a cheap badly made pair) these worked great!
