> 24 hourI have revamped my review after extensive use. I have played several mmos for around 60 hours now and the mouse has held up beautifully. It is comfortable allow my fingers to rest on the mouse, the buttons are crisp and responsive, the software gave me no issues with macros, combo buttons, or lighting effects. The mouse build is great. I will say this though note that there is a thin piece of plastic over the mouse skates that you dont really see. I initially thought they were roughing up earlier but I was an idiot and didnt take notice that there was plastic. After playing for a while and the roughness was getting worse I looked closely and saw it shining and picked at the corner to pull it off. Now it glides amazingly. Great mouse for the price and in my opinion just as good if not better than the ones out there. My only complaints would be the weight and cord. It is a heavy mouse and weights dont do much. Taking them all out makes it better but not by much and the cord is some of the worst I have seen. It is a strong cord but not flexible AT ALL. It has been in my bungee (the only way to play with the mouse) and the cord is still sticking straight up in the air. If you bend it differently it will just remain in that position for good. Definitely needs a rework on the mouse cord. Other than that the mouse is better than expected for the price point!

> 24 hourI use this mouse for for FPS, MMO, and for Osu! (whatever category that would fall under.) The mouse at first glance was amazing, fully customizable keys, complicated Macros, 16400 DPI, 12 side keys, ergonomically legit. I was blown away. Then after a couple of weeks of using it I noticed some things... After a long day of playing nothing but Osu!, (A game where you constantly are spamming Mouse 1 and Mouse 2) Mouse 1 started to double click when I only clicked it once. Wasnt that big of a deal, as the double click was extremely close together, so it only messed me up occasionally. The next day the side buttons stopped working. Replugged everything and it started working again. No biggie. Eventually, when I used my friends mouse, and switched back, I realized that this mouse has Mouse acceleration, even though the settings were turned to no mouse acceleration. To test the mouse acceleration, I would set my keyboard to a measured distance away from my mouse, then hit my mouse into the keyboard (the standard way of testing,) but two or three times of that, the Mouse 1 and Mouse 2 switched. No big deal, since all the keys are customizable, so I just switched them. All of the problems I had werent enough to make me stop using the mouse, as a very small amount of mouse acceleration isnt enough to make me ditch it. Pros: Fully customizable keys and colors (excluding scroll LED, which is set for DPI level) 12 side keys for MMOs or just anything that has a lot of hotkeys Ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing Adjustable mouse speed and DPI Shoelace like chord. Amazingly smooth bottom. Least amount of friction ive ever had on a mouse. It has weights for people who want more weight. Usually comes with the weights already inside the mouse Cons: Fragile (After hitting it against my keyboard Mouse 1 and Mouse 2 switched... For some reason...) Buggy (sometimes the side keys dont work, but I just unplug and plug it back in and it works, sometimes mouse 1 double clicks) Will always have SOME mouse acceleration, barely noticeable, unless you play something that requires lots of fast accuracy, like CSGO or Osu!

> 24 hourFor the price, you cant beat it. It doesnt feel quite as high quality as my old logitech, but it actually works, unlike the logitech. I like the programmable fire button on the left side of the top of the mouse. The only real aspect that I dont like that much is the fact that the color for the LED on the scroll wheel is not linked to the LEDs for the rest of it. That light changes with the DPI profile you are using, with choices between yellow, blue, pink, green and red. So, if you want to match everything up, you have to set the DPI you will usually use to the corresponding color that you want. It would be much better if there were an option in the included software to link the scroll LED color with the rest of the LEDs. You can also set the rest of the LEDs to any color you can think of, but not the scroll wheel. It works on every surface I have tried. It works on glossy surfaces, rough surfaces, mouse pads (obviously), pant legs, my face (which I just tried because I was thinking of places to test it), carpet, etc. Most of the people reading these reviews are probably worried about the durability of such a cheap mouse. Well, I plugged mine in on 8/9/2016 and as of 12/11/2016, it still works and looks exactly as it did when I first purchased it. I use it quite a bit because not only am I a gamer, I do a lot of work at home right on this computer. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. Update 10/30/2018 After over two years, the mouse is at the end of its life. A few months ago, the scroll wheel started randomly not responding. Today, the whole mouse shuts off randomly. It will work fine, then suddenly all the LEDs shut off, and the mouse completely stops working. After a second or two, it comes back. Ive tried it on more than one computer and it does the same thing. Two years isnt a terrible life for a cheap mouse, but its not spectacular. I guess Ill leave it at four stars simply because of the price.

> 24 hourbackground: I have used razer naga chromas for years and finally got fed up with the excesiveness of the cost and the invasiveness of Razer Synapse. I bought this as a one off to try a less expensive product. Pros: 1.) The weight (and removable weights to make it perfect for you) feels perfect. I use it with all weights in and it slides well on my mouse pad and doesnt ever pull off very well. 2.) Feels sturdy and well made. 3.) Main Mouse buttons click is very tactile and feels just right. 4.) Wheel is nice and smooth. 5.) Quick fire extra action button is actually amazing and nicely placed. 6.) RGB looks pleasant 7.) Textured finish feels breathable and better then any mouse I have used before. 8.) Probably the biggest pro, the configuration is stored on the mouse itself so no bulky software required to run in the background and no internet connection required for special mouse configurations to be maintained. 9.) simple controls for DPI, double click, acceleration, and scroll speed. Cons: 1.) The software is bad. It doesnt come with the software needed to install or even a web site where you download it from. You have to go find it yourself. Then it comes in a .rar file which windows by default cant open so if I didnt have winrar or 7-zip I would have been out of luck for installation. 2.) (software pt 2) My antivirus software had to be disabled to install perdition because it wanted to write profiles to a protected folder without asking where to install it. 3.) (software pt 3) While the controls for DPI and other basic mouse functions were simple, the configuration of the side buttons is kind of clunky. Little things like setting one of the buttons to a combination press (Alt+P in my case), was clunky and didnt work well. when you press and hold a button for the combo-key, it doesnt press and hold both keys just the letter which really limits the uses in MMOs. 4.) Customer Support - If you buy this product off amazon and try to provide feedback on the software for improvements to red dragon expect them to ignore you and say we dont service product purchased off amazon even though I was trying to point out a software bug on the software from the red dragon website. Im fairly certain from the bad English in the response from tech support, he couldnt understand English well enough to read the detailed problem description I wrote. 5.) Location of the side panel - On my nagas, I have always used mouse buttons 7 and 10 for forward and back buttons. The position of the buttons on this mouse however is much closer to the back of the mouse leading you to have to really bend the thumb to reach back to buttons 10-12. There is plenty of room on the side panel, if they had moved the buttons a half inch forward it would feel much more comfortable to hit all the buttons. 6.) Side button size - While the angling of the buttons is nice, There isnt much of a gap between buttons so it can be a little challenging in a pinch to ensure you are hitting the right button as you move quickly between them. Perhaps this will get better with muscle memory, but I found myself hitting the wrong key a bit. Summary: Coming in at half the cost of a naga I still think this mouse is a fairly decent purchase if you can work around the software shortcomings and assuming I dont end up having to use the warranty or ever deal with their customer service again. -update after using the mouse for 3 months. I actually like the feel of this mouse and the buttons better then my razer mice. After realigning my hotkeys to work around the glitches this is my favorite mouse to use. The poor customer support is why I will leave it at 4/5. The only gotcha I have discovered is I bought this mouse because the profiles are saved on the mouse and I wanted to use it with a KVM without needing software on both pcs. That didnt work well because every so often when swapping between PCs the mouse would lose its programming and need to be reflashed with the custom buttons. Still overall super satisfied with this purchase.

> 24 hourI really like that the surface of the mouse has a texture of grip to it. The mouse wheel also has a grip track on it so it is easy to scroll. This is my first MMO mouse and I love it. I cant believe I was playing WOW without it. The rapid-fire button I have only used a couple of times in modern warfare and it seemed like it worked half the time depending on the gun. The side buttons are tilted which helps me only push the button I mean too, and it also helps me feel where the buttons are. Buttons 1-6 are well within reach of my thumb and I use the bottom of my thumb (below the knuckle) to reach the rest of the buttons comfortably. I had trouble saving the keybind buttons in the software but it worked once I made the software run as administrator. You can also change the color of the mouse lights and buttons in this software. Overall I am very pleased with this mouse and I am now interested in this brands other products. I would not be shocked if this brand started competing with other major brands.

> 24 hourI had a Death Adder and loved it but felt I needed more buttons as I wanted to get away from the reach of my G key macros from my keyboard. I felt I could be more efficient with the extra mouse buttons. I checked Amazon and ran across the Redragon lines. Unknown to me but they looked pretty good. I decided though I had some christmas gift cards from BB and I decided I loved my Adder so much why not go Naga. I tested it on the setup at BB and it felt alright albeit a bit smaller than the Adder but I went with it. I got home and within 20 minutes I seen my error. The shape of the naga is not the same as the Adder. What I mean the curvature of an Adder curves all the way to the mouse pad. The naga at the end of its curve has about a 1 drop to the mousepad. Very uncomfortable for my play style and worried long term use might cause issues in my wrist. I immediately took it back and got a new mechanical keyboard that I was planning on adding eventually so I could get the use out of my gift cards. This left me with still wanting a mouse so as soon as I got home I looked at Redragon again. I looked at the picture gallery of the mouse to see how its curvature worked. The pictures showed me it was similar to my Adder so I gave it a go. I got it a few days later as a Prime member so 5 stars on the shipping Amazon! The feel was close to my Adder. Not 100% which I never expected would be. It is slightly smaller in size but bigger than the Naga. What was important was the feel with the wrist. It feels great. Now that I got the feel lets get to the mouse dynamics: It has a ring finger rest. Not horrible just never have had one in the past. I feel I will get used to it. Dont get attached to the sound of 16400 DPI. If you can manage that kind of sensitivity you are beyond belief. That is just too much but thankfully it is highly adjustable. Mouse scroll feel good. Different than the adder but in a good way for me. Smoother without being too smooth. The mouse material is different for me as well. It is not distracting but I think if you get a sweaty palm or something else that causes your hand to want to slide it wont on this mouse. It is pretty subtle feel but you can sense it. The software that it comes with did not take long to figure out how to adjust. This is my first MMO mouse so it is a learning experience for me on side button configuration but I feel I got it on lock down now. The red button on the left of your left click button if your a first person shooter is an amazing burst fire. Instead of mash and hold and having a bad spray pattern this will have you in tight shape. The chord is that expensive mouse style of braided quality. If your into that then you will be happy. Every bit as good as my Adder. If your not well that is just how the more expensive ones seem to be now. Now the final part which is why I took the star off is the 12 button side buttons. If you were to sit the mouse on its side and looked at the angles of the buttons they form a contour in the shape of a w 1-6 no prob to get to but 7-12 take effort to be accurate. Luckily I dont think I will need to get that deep into them. I have them bound right now to the least needed abilities but it is clunky to do regardless. The buttons are not difficult to press but they are just your typical buttons. The Naga has mechanical these are not. To me that is no big issues. I only deducted the star for the difficulty of the back 6. I hated doing so but want to give an accurate depiction of the mouse. Finally the biggest thing that almost gave it back that 5th star is the price. Naga 65-70 and Logitech is up there as well for their MMO mouse you cannot beat the price tag of the Redragon. So in conclusion if you are debating whether to take a chance on it over the bigger names of Razer or Logitech to name a few then do so. It is a great mouse thus far after a week of use. If it changes I will readjust but thus far I am very satisfied.

> 24 hourIm gonna go ahead and give it 4 stars, despite me probably not using it in favor of other mice. Its a solid mouse but, comparatively to the LogiG502 and the DeathAdder that I also own, it falls short. My pros and cons are mostly from a comparative perspective. CONS: - The side buttons. Theyre difficult to push without moving the mouse in the process. - The UI for the mouse options was annoying to use for me. Setting the lighting schemes with the DPI setting was annoying to figure out, and clicking and dragging the sliders is a frustrating experience. Once I figured how everything worked, I was able to get it where I want easily, but the sliders are so small, and it seems like the hitbox for the slider was inconsistent, causing it to unclick the slider, making me have to re click the slider. The tracking issues, that Ill mention, were probably part of the problem. It was also really crowded. I much prefer Razer Synapse. Comparatively, Synapse takes the cake in my book (despite peoples hate for it) - The tracking for the mouse was REALLY inconsistent. Im using a Razer Goliath Control mouse pad and, when I first used the mouse, I assumed it was just the texture of the mouse pad screwing with the tracking (Its apparently optimized with Razer products in mind.). When I plugged in the G502 however, I have to assume the M901 is the problem. The M901 has no optimization in their UI to get more accurate tracking, compared to the G502 (which I didnt even need to use to get it to track well on the pad). I play on higher DPI settings, so tracking is pretty much a make or break for me and is the number 1 reason I wont be using the mouse (at least until I see if I have a better experience with a different pad.) - The fire button on the left side of the top is annoying to click in a high pressure situation in game. It curves off so hard to the left, that you have to move your whole hand to click it. I was fine with it, until I picked up the G502. It has TWO buttons in the same location, and it takes no effort to shift your index to hit. This is mostly an opinion, being that if I held the mouse differently itd most likely not be an issue. But holding it in a way that I can hit the button easily was uncomfortable. PROS: - The fit of the mouse is comfortable as f***. The position and tilt of the side buttons is 4 out of 5. The texture of the mouse is perfect, kind of a rubbery and bumpy texture that the G502 cant even compare to. The mouse wheel feels snug, yet easy to move. The right side finger holder for the ring finger is nice. Love holding the mouse. - The weights are a nice touch. Compared to the weights in the LogiG502, M901 is definitely better. A minor detail, but it was noticeable enough to put in the Pros. - I have to mention the Mouse Wheel again. Theres no side scroll, but it doesnt need it. Compared to any mouse Ive used, this wheel takes the cake. I hate how loose a lot of mouse wheels are, and this one was perfect. Loose enough to be able to move/click it easily, but tight enough to not have any accidental slips or over-scrolling. - Despite my issues with the UI, its still full of customization. It was cluttered, but simple. The different profiles are easily switched to, which is nice for me, being that my girlfriend also uses my computer and doesnt enjoy 6400 dpi (despite the 1440p...) - The bottom buffers are really nice/smooth compared to both the DeathAdder and the G502. The other two are almost sticky, whereas the M901 is really smooth. Glides across the pad really smoothly. - Solid left and right clicks. Dont have to put much, if any, pressure to click. At least less pressure than with the DeathAdder and G502. If I could use this mouse with Razer Synapse and the G502s G8 and G7 buttons (the buttons that are in the same spot as the fire button), and have NO tracking issues, Id never buy another mouse. The side buttons are annoying to click, but isnt as bad as I initially thought they would be. If youre thinking of picking up this mouse, Id definitely recommend it, and hope you have no tracking issues. Its a decent mouse outside of that, and my experience could be an outlier.

> 24 hourBefore switching to this, I used a Logitech mouse that was more expensive and stopped working within a year. I then bought one of these and all the buttons felt great to press, but I had the same issue and the mouse stopped working in around a year. I then bought another again in 2020 and it is still works in 2023. Only complaint of my current mouse is that 3 buttons out of the 12 need slightly more pressure to push, so it feels a bit weird when I need to use them. That issue aside Ill probably order from the same brand again if ever need a new mouse.

> 24 hourAlright, I had this mouse for a while now. Like 6 months now. Figured itd be best to test drive it and all before I praised, or condemned this item. So here we go. The Redragon M901 Perdition edition is fantastic in many ways, with minor downfalls. Ive never owned any top tier mice before, mostly just for the cheap 20$ mice from your local Walmart or BestBuy. And I didnt expect to big of a difference between mice, but was I wrong. But before I get to ahead of myself Ill just split this into more detailed subsections. The Design: The design feels great, for those who are right handed and have medium to large hands that is. I have had a few others hold it and they also agreed it feels great, although those with smaller hands had to adjust there positioning to make it work right and even than couldnt get the bottom row buttons, so if youre a small handed person beware. Nonetheless, it felt great holding, with the nice groove over making your thumb rest on the top 2 rows of the side buttons, while you can easily slide or use your thumbs joint like I do, to press the lower section. The buttons themselves are relatively easy to push, but not so easy that you will press them when you dont mean to. It has a nice grip feel to it, thats also relaxing and has yes to cause cramping in my hands after 4 hours of gameplay. The texture of the material is also nice, I was expecting a glossy like finish from how the picture looks with the glare, but instead I was met with a light sand paper like feel, imagine like 400 grit sand paper. It wasnt over intrusive as in to make you notice it, but it wasnt faded that it would be completely missed. It gives it a nice gripping for when things get heavy in the game, but is soft to the touch for the light internet browsing. So far this texture has yet to fade or show wear which is great. Than theres the all important right and left clickers, they are one with the shell of the rest of the mouse, excluding the scroll wheel, and click lightly but nicely. My only concern is that I may one day end up clicking on it to hard and repeatedly that they might break, the Steam Summer Sale Game gave me this concern so much I downloaded an auto clicker just to be safe. Perhaps Im just to overly cautious. Carrying on. Theres the scroll wheel and the DPI + and - buttons. The scroll wheel is ripped and feels nice, made of rubber, and is quick to scroll with, it lacks the left/right clicking most gaming mouses have these days but that doesnt really bother me. The DPI buttons are nice and out of the way, in a concave like wall around them so you dont end up clicking them when you dont need too. Which brings me to another point, the extra red button you see on the left is used to switch profiles, ill get to more on those in a bit, which I find myself sometimes to end up sliding over it and clicking it switching through. Maybe its just me though, the designers did try and elevate it up some as to keep you aware of where it is. Theres also a nice groove on the right side of the mouse to relax you ring finger on, which adds to the comfortably of it all. Lastly the lights are pretty, theres a nice breathing effect, with varrying speeds, and completely always on, or just an off selection if youre not a fan. The Software The mouse comes with a disc with all the software and drivers. If you dont have a disc drive like me fear not! Just head over to there website and download it all from there, plugging in the mouse will get you the drivers, or just use of the basic drivers so you can accomplish such a step. The Software is easy to install with no hassle, and once its done you can add it to your desktop or not whatever. I did because I like to customize the settings every so often and want to keep it right at the tip of my finger. The Software use is pretty straight forward, the mouse comes with 5 profiles, each of which can be set to a different playstyle, for example I have profile set for CoD and other FPS games, while I have another set up for The Old Republic and other MMOs, and even one set up for internet browsing because why not? Starting from the main screen you can adjust the button assignments, and by that I mean everything thats clickable can be changed. You want your right click to be linked to Shift? Sure you can do that. You can add shortcuts, hot keys, single keys, make it lock your PC or disable a button completely, to any of the buttons. Its very nice to have all this control, and it makes having all these options pretty neat. Can change the acceleration and poll rate here also which is nice, maybe on profile one you want to be able to turn quickly in an FPS so you increase it all to the max, but profile 2 you got a MMO that you dont want to turn so fast when you move just an inch. Second screen allows you to adjust the DPI of all 5 different levels for each individual profile. But wait, you can unlink the XY axis so that you can increase your Y and not your X, why would you do that? Well now you can look up and down at crazy speeds, while looking left and right at average speeds, at least thats what I did for FPS games. You can also disable the levels if you want to which is considerate of them. Than you got the light settings, you can choose a color from a select assertion of colors provided, or find the right shade of color you want via a color slider. You can make the lights super bright, or dim. Can also add in a breathing effect, solid effect or turn them off. Only one problem I found, rather inconvenient, is that the scroll wheel light is not customizable, nor can it be turned off either. You are stuck with the 5 preset colors of yellow, green, blue, magenta, and red. So if you want say, white as your color of choice, than you can have it as the logo and side buttons, but your scroll wheel will be one of the aforementioned colors depending on what level you are set at. This bothers me to a degree, but I looked past it because, well besides me, who else is going to see the mouse anyways and see what whacky color system I have going on? Verdict I love this mouse, its comfy, cheaper than other gaming mice, and is easy to use. Theres a lot of custumization to it that feels great and makes it feels like its MY mouse. On a scaled of 1-10 Id give it a 9.8 just due to that last gripe I have. Would I buy this again? Most definetly. Maybe Id try for a newer version from Reddragon, see if they improve anything, but this mouse is pretty great and I dont see a need to get a different one.

> 24 hourBought it in 2018. Still working well today! (2023)
